    The Hotel Roemer is lovely, located on a quiet street right next to lots of popular turist attractions. Bed was comfy, room was spacious and breakfast was varied and tasty. Would definitely return.

    Initial thoughts weren't great - the hotel is in desperate need of refurb. Hotel staff at check in were very helpful and friendly. Room was average, big size and plenty of room to store luggage due to having a separate room which just contained a mini fridge and safe. Bathroom also needed a good clean. Room was also set to 30C when I walked in so had to immediately turn that down... Didn't try the breakfast. No place for other meals of the day so need to head out. It was a short walk to Hard Rock Cafe (~10 mins), where there was also a Wagamamas, Irish pub, Italian restaurant, Spar and Souvenir shop within close proximity. My main issue was with the check out -- I had requested an invoice as per my booking instructions and was told as I'd booked through a third party (booking.com), I couldn't have one and would have to go through them. I actually went through Agoda, so not sure where that information came from. When I went through Agoda and clicked the link for the invoice, a message popped up to say I needed to request it from the hotel. I showed the staff member this message but she still insisted she couldn't help me and to try booking.com instead. I was not happy with this and requested an email address which got this issue quickly resolved. Hotels were very expensive this week (which meant this hotel was probably not worth the hiked price) due to other large conferences in the city.
