Ella Morning Sunshine

We loved the kindness of our host family and the quality of the breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to attend the cooking class our hostess was giving, and that's our only regret. We'll make sure to spend more time there on our next family trip.

We liked the feeling of family immediately upon arrival. We were welcomed and the staff are fun and lively. They made us feel at home at once. Our room was very pretty with lace canopies over the beds and a modern shower. We particularly enjoyed the cookery class and the breakfast were generous and healthy.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms are brand new and spotless — everything felt fresh, modern, and incredibly well maintained. The bathroom was even better than the one at my own home! Although we only stayed for one night, it was truly fantastic and definitely the best place of our entire vacation in Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly kind and efficient — they even washed and returned our laundry in a very short time, which was such a great help during our trip. Breakfast was delicious, with high-quality food and plenty of choice. We also had dinner at their brand-new restaurant next door, and it was hands down the best dinner of our whole holiday. In short, this place is absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend it and would love to come back!

A nice location overlooking the mountains with the ability to spot a nice sunrise. Still a fairly new property and therefore developing slightly in terms of amenities and ensuring guests have everything they need on arrival - such a toilet paper, but would be decent value for money for those looking for more of a hostel type setting, with double rooms that could host 4 people vs a couple. Bathrooms needed a bit of work, everything was brand new, but our shower didn't drain, so you are standing in a fair bit or water, but the water was hot.
