Blooming Rose Ella

Blooming Rose Ella was the perfect place for our stay in Ella. It was exceptionally clean, the views off our balcony were so beautiful and the family that own the property were so friendly and could not have been more accommodating. They prepared breakfast each morning which was full of fresh local fruit and other delicious bits. They organised a tuk tuk for us to get to a local tea plantation and gave us lots of helpful information and tips during our stay. As it was our honeymoon they also decorated our room for our arrival which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. The property itself was only a short 15 minute walk into Ella town along the train track which was the perfect location for our stay. Overall, we could not recommend Blooming Rose Ella enough!

The room was large and clean with the most incredible view. Bit of stairs and a hill to walk up and down but the staff were kind enough to give us rides and assist with bags etc. breakfast was delicious.

The location is truly beautiful, you can see everything from the balcony (Adam's Peak, Ella's Rock, waterfalls and even the railway to the scenic train), breakfast is homemade and really outstanding, fresh fruit and different typical plates everyday, we loved so much hoppers and coconut pancakes! Every room has a small and nice balcony overlooking the mountains. Very cosy and familiar vibe.

Just a couple notes: 1.there are quite steep stairs to get to the main entrance, not a problem for us but I think it needs to be clearly explained or shown in pictures. 2. The bathroom was a little outdated but not a big deal, the only real issue was the lack of hot water. Overall a very enjoyable stay, the family is really nice and helpful and kind.
