Ella HIDE VIEW

Beautiful views, nice room ,comfortable bed , staff and service are excellent. Food was excellent I ordered dinner an hour before and they let me know when it’s ready and you can have it the dining room with the beautiful view or in the room. It’s cook fresh and breakfast was superb too.

For me I found it great but bear in mind as cars and van cannot access off the main road. They will sent a tuk tuk so if it’s large groups or large luggage. Also steep flights of stairs to the hotel. Other

This is a hidden gem in Ella that I would recommend to anybody travelling to the area. It is close and accessible to Ella town, but it is not located IN the town, so you are far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle, but close enough to access all the amenities. Which we thought was perfect. The views from this hotel are sublime. Possibly the best views we have come across in Sri Lanka so far. It’s also tranquil, peaceful and beautiful. One of the highlights is the staff. The manager Pirayantha was incredible. He doted on us and made sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. He even went to get beer for us!! The younger member of staff Jana was so attentive and helpful, he went above and beyond and always had the biggest smile on his face! We had a special soft spot for him! If you want to stay somewhere incredibly beautiful, with amazing attentive staff, and wonderful views then Ella Hide View is for you!

This place is just as beautiful in real life as it is in the pictures! Everything was up to date and well designed, the food was great and the people were both kind and helpful. The view is stunning but the location is also great for all other things, we stayed in the area for dinner up the street one night, and went into town for another. We would not hesitate to come back!

Nothing, all good things!

Small balcony with fabulous views. Easy access to hike on the train lines. Friendly staff.

Hotel hard to find and many steps down to the entrance. Room full of insects, even inside the mosquito net. The room was not like the photos.
