Blackburn Heights Apartment Sleeps 4

Lovely decor, very comfortable bed. Great showet anf kitchen. Lovely TV and sofa. Good info ptovided by owners. Clran soft linen and duvet. A pure treat.

Windows do not open in bedrooms. Got very stuffy and no air. So we struggled with that. Check in at 3pm, i know thats same in many places ..I struggle with late check in. Its a very small apartment. Would not need 5 hours to clean. Better to have 12pm or even 2pm check in. Those who come on train can leave luggage. Freshen up and have a proper day out by the coast. If it was a large hotel. I get cleaners doing rounds would take a while. But at least you can leave luggage. This is just my preference and not everyone would mind. It still is a wonderful lovely place to stay

Good location

Not very clean. Dinning table set up with plates,cutlery and wine glass. That was very dusty. Had to wash wine glasses and cutlery before being able to use as it was all sat out on the table.

The location is great, around five mins walk to the shops and sea front. And maybe ten to 15 mins to the train station. Bus station is five mins away. The property is lovely. Our room was of high spec. We never got to meet the host's.

I hadn't realised until I'd put my payment through. That there was a cleaning fee of £109. I mean c'mon, really. So this was a big hit to what I thought was a reasonably priced stay. I would of cancelled, however. There was a clause saying you couldn't get your money back. I haven't had this with booking.com. A neighbour let's their dog out every night between 11.30 pm and 12. It doesn't stop barking from going out to coming back in. And it's a loud bark. When I was looking to book Bridlington, I ticked the box for dog friendly. The property came up as dog friendly. However, we were put on the second floor i.e. upstairs. I then get a message saying please don't take your dog upstairs I mean wtf?. So I had to tie her to a staircase in the passage. And leave her all night. Otherwise, like any dog. She would have bolted upstairs. For these reasons only. I wouldn't book again.

I liked the apartment but found the bed quite small for 2 adults
