The Green Room

Lovely studio, was cosy and had pretty much everything you need. Very clean and in a gorgeous little village. Location was perfect for us as we did the mam tor hike and visited villages/towns like Bakewell and Buxton. Host was lovely and had great communication. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again.

Not a dislike but just a note for light sleepers, the cottage is directly opposite the church and the bells do ring all night, on the hour, every hour so would advise to bring ear plugs! We did only notice this on the Thursday night and not the Friday night so not sure if this doesn't occur over the weekend.

We really liked the aesthetic, the fireplace was a lovely feature and the bed was very comfortable. Very clean. Co-op over the road, fish and chips up the street.

The only thing we noticed was that the pressure in the shower was slightly less desirable but that is by no means a complaint.

Gorgeous little cosy hideaway in a lovely village. We had a rainy weekend in February but the location is perfect for any weather as there are nice pubs with open fires on the doorstep! Had lovely meals in Sal’s Italian and Merchants and the chippy a few doors down is great too, also had a very nice breakfast at Tideswell Lounge. Coop opposite for anything you need, our weekend was perfect. Had a drive out to Castleton too for a walk which was gorgeous and well worth a visit. We’ll be back :)

Nothing, the owner gas put a lot of thought into this great little holiday let. Brilliant value for money!
