Beautiful cottage with all the facilities you need, great location for walking in the peak district and easy access to the Monsal trail and there is a pub a short walk up the lane
This is our 2nd visit and it's not as top top as the 1st time. There are some areas that need tlc especially on the stairs where paper is peeling and bathroom where black is showing in the grout and sealant, the back yard needs a spruce up and more attention to removing cobwebs from various areas which isn't down to being in the countryside

-Well equipped kitchen
-beautifully decorated front bedroom with view overlooking river
-Set in a unique location
-Great starting point for walks right from the door, in all directions
-Dogs permitted but must stay downstairs
-For those mobility issues be aware that the stairs are steep and winding and the stone floor is beautiful but uneven. There is a step between bedroom and bathroom. As a period property this is part of the charm but worth noting for those with mobility issues.

Prior knowledge of no phone signal
Sky box did not function, Remote back is broken.
Poor instructions for smart TV. For Senior citizens like ourselves
Loose rug in lounge, a trip hazard. We were hoteliers, retired, So we speak from experience.
