There was a good choice of food for breakfast.

Depending on what your needs are the location is pretty central yet away from the city business. Room was clean and clean towels available.

While the room was “adequate” it felt quite small. It is advertised as 12m2, so I could have visualised it before getting there. Breakfast was a bit wanting. Just instant coffee, cereal, toast and jam may be “normal” for some but I cannot call it a breakfast. Some fruit and/or orange juice would have made it better. Luckily I travelled with my own fruit.

Free breakfast is cereal, plain bread, jams (I placed an expired bottle of peanut butter next to the organic waste bin twice before the owner realised why I left it there), orange juice and milk. Coffee is the powder kind which you add to your hot water. If you want bacon/egg on toast poached or fried, you need to pay extra AUD10. Also have menus for AUD12.50 and AUD15, need to inform owner in advance. Room 1 which I was staying, is just immediately on the left of the entrance. It is big and comfortable with a walk-in closet and toilet which I appreciated. Many clothes hangers. As we drive, free car park was appreciated.

The common kitchen's cleanliness was very lacking and everything needed a good clean down, from the utensils to refrigerator door to the floor. As the rest of the house was carpeted except the kitchen, we did not wear shoes in the kitchen. Walking on the kitchen floor felt gross, I avoided stepping into the kitchen as far as possible. I am okay with it but note that Room 1 does not have any windows that can be opened for ventilation. The aircon was making noise which may be bothersome for light sleepers without ear plugs.
