Nice inexpensive hotel with a beautiful cosy pub with real fireplaces downstairs. Shared bathrooms only, but they are nice and clean. Warm vibe of the old historical building. Parking is not on site, but near Bottle-O nearby, not enclosed. Overall, a comfy stay.
I booked a room with what was advertised as a "meals can be prepared in the well-fitted kitchenette, which comes with a refrigerator, kitchenware and a tea and coffee maker", however there is no way to call it a "kitchenette" only because there is a tiny fridge without freezer and a kettle in this room. Many hotels have standart fridge and a kettle in rooms, but they don't call it "a kitchenette", let alone misleading guests into a possibility of "preparing a meal" :)) There is no even a knife to cut the bread with, let alone other "kitchenware" or even a microwave for cooking, not to mention a stove/sink. Made a couple of sanwiches in a shared kitchenette in the lounge area which at least had a sink and a microwave in it. Had to bring my own knife from the car for doing that. It is not a big deal, but I would plan my grocery shopping differently, should I know that there will be no kitchenette.

We arrived quite late for check in, Clean room and very comfortable bed. My room had a heater which kept us warm Not too noisy considering it’s a pub. Very quiet when the pub closes. Walking distance to Fremantle markets. Free parking downstairs. Shared bathrooms which were very clean. Staff was lovely who checked us in. I would definitely return in future.

Honestly, this place was a proper vibe from the moment we walked in. It’s not your usual pub accommodation the building has real character, charm, and that old-school feel that makes the stay memorable. It honestly felt like stepping back in time, but with a cozy and tasteful setup. The staff were absolute legends, really easygoing and welcoming. The room was comfy, the atmosphere was warm, and the food downstairs was bang on. It was busy, but that just added to the buzz. Overall, a really cool stay and definitely more of an experience than just a place to sleep.
The only thing I can say here was the noise from the road in the morning. But that’s understandable its close to the hospital. Not much of a deal

Location was great and the price was ok.
Very noisy, could hear people walking up and down the hall and being loud. Booked a room for 3 people but the lounge that folded down into a bed had no blankets or pillows and the TV’s cord was cut. It was ok to lay ones head down for the night, but certainly room for improvement.
