Lönnrotinkatu Apartment

Perfect location, central and quiet. There was a supermarket nearby for supplies and even a nice bar for the evening. The bedroom with the double bed was good. It had a lamp and sockets next to the bed and a window that made it quite bright.

The apartment had a balcony in an uncovered area. That was the main reason I booked it. I wanted to be able to smoke on the balcony. However, when I arrived I found out that smoking is prohibited on the balcony. I wish the host had informed me before I came. I would have booked elsewhere. I was also bothered by the instruction we had (again after we arrived) that we had to take off our shoes inside the apartment because it is a Finnish custom. Unfortunately, they did not provide us with slippers. Fortunately, cleanliness is also a Greek custom and fortunately we had our own slippers. The kitchen had a French coffee maker but no coffee. The cupboard had a few opened boxes of various drinks without labels, scattered by previous guests and it seemed that the cupboard had not been cleaned. Also, when guests arrive late at night, like us and the host knows about it, it would be good to have the bed made. We had to make the kitchen-bed after a long journey, while we were very tired. We are 4 people and we had booked the apartment for 4 people.

Wonderful location, surrounded by historical architecture, near to metro, nice restaurants and many grocery stores nearby. The bed was very sturdy, we had a good night sleep and felt well rested. The curtains really block all the lights out for the night. Apartment had all the utilities needed for cooking and it was clean and comfortable. We got clear instructions. The stay was smooth and we felt cared by the host. We definitely would stay again! This is a gem and definitely great value for the money! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

De ligging en de faciliteiten in de wijk.

Veel achterstallig onderhoud: losse stopcontacten, een wirwar van kabels in een slaapkamer, kapot rolgordijn in de slaapkamer, afgebladderde verf door het hele huis, vuil rooster in badkamer, vuil op afzuigkap, modem zwerft door de kamer, een vieze vriezer vol met ijs en etenswaren, afvoer in de douche is een putje naast het bad, scheur in het bidet, lampen die niet goed bevestigd zijn en vieze vlek in de bank. Verder is de tweede slaapkamer nauwelijks een slaapkamer te noemen. Verder geeft de verhuurder op de website aan dat het een rookvrij appartement betreft, maar in de welkomstmail staat dat dit ook geldt voor het balkon. Mensen huren juist en balkon om niet binnen te roken. Saillant detail: er lag wel een aansteker op het aanrecht, terwijl er elektrisch gekookt wordt.
