Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Helsinki. The apartment was super spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was also a unique experience to have our own sauna, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Matilda was a wonderful host - very communicative, with clear instructions on how to access the property etc., which was very convenient given that we arrived very late in the evening. We also loved how close the public transport nearby was (both metro and tram), which made our sightseeing in Helsinki super easy! Added perk is that the apartment overlooks a park which is very pretty in the snow :)
While the apartment is serviceable, it seemed to be in need of a few minor repairs and updates to make it perfect. For example, we had trouble with one of the door handles getting stuck, and some of the lights need fixing. The kitchen was not as well equipped as we were expecting (couldn't find a plug for the sink or a tea towel) and one of the bathrooms had a bit of a funny smell (ok for us as we just used the other bathroom, but might be an issue for larger groups). Overall - there was nothing that made our stay uncomfortable or the apartment uninhabitable, it was just a few things we noticed that could be improved to make it 10/10.

Mi estancia ha sido muy buena. Me he sentido súper cómodo en todo momento, el ambiente era muy agradable y todo estaba bien cuidado y preparado para disfrutar sin preocupaciones.
Quiero destacar especialmente la sauna privada, ya que la he utilizado bastante y ha sido un auténtico lujo poder disfrutarla con total tranquilidad. Es muy fácil de usar y aporta un extra de relajación que se agradece muchísimo después de un día largo.
En general, ha sido una experiencia muy positiva y sin duda es un sitio al que volvería.

The apartment was very spacious and the location was great.
The washer was inoperable, the bathroom smelled of urine and the drain in the shower backed up frequently. The apartment was also very cold at night. The beds had mattress covers with old blood stains on them.

Apartment is big! Over all - nice looking.
Host did not answer any message. Not on booking, not on email provided. Never. Just automatic instructions were sent.
