Bright Apartment in Töölö

The place was cozy and well-located. It had everything necessary for a baby. The black-out curtains were a plus.

Although the name of the accommodation includes "private parking", after booking the host answered that the parking spot is not available due to renovation in the parking hall. It would be nice not to mention "private parking" in the name of the accommodation, if the parking place is unavailable. That was a minus, but we kept the booking. On the spot we noticed that the a/c did not work. It was stated on the page and was one of the reasons we booked this place. The host replied that the a/c is actually unavailable because the remote is broken. It was too hot to sleep with windows closed and even harder with them open, because it's light and noisy outside. It would be nice not to mention a/c, if it doesn't work. We requested a later check-out as a reimbursement and the host kindly agreed. This was not of much use, however, since on Monday morning we woke up around 7 am to loud drilling behind the wall. All day they were renovating something, so that it was impossible for the baby to sleep in the apartment, and for parents, of course, as well. We had to spend the last day walking the baby around Töölö, so that he gets some sleep. The sound was very loud and annoying. It could not have been a surprise to the hosts, since the whole house was being renovated. It would be nice to mention the house renovation when confirming the booking, and that there might be some noise on weekdays starting early morning. We asked for some material reimbursement and received 20% of the price back, which is considerate. But we still couldn't help feeling mislead, when booking the place. Also, the bed was not very comfortable. It was too soft and bouncy, so both our backs hurt after sleeping only three nights. And finally, the place has a huge balcony with a good view. It would be a big plus, if it is furnished. But there is no furniture or even a carpet to step on without getting your socks dirty.

Localizacão boa ao lado do ponto de tram que vai ao centro da cidade. O bairro é bom também. Anfitriã atencioso e fácil de contactar.

Havia um mau cheiro vindo do banheiro, provavelmente pelo encamento pois o predio está em obras. Por mais que houvessem difusores de ambiente, não foi suficiente para mascarar o cheiro por completo.
