Really nice little apartment for our one night stay, very clean and comfortable

Location was great for walk down the center, about 10 minutes, and Tesco Express along, where you can buy some supplies, if you need. Parking in front of the Indian restaurant is about 5 minutes by foot across the park, not far, but parking is paid for calendar day - so GBP 9 per day means up to midnight and then you have to pay again from 7 in the morning until midnight next day, so together you pay 18 GBP for parking. If you walk into the restaurant, you can bargain the price down a few pounds and also pay with card (parking machine is for coins only). The appartment itself is on the top (second) floor with steep staircase, but it is no big deal. It has a neat bathroom, two bedroom with comfortable bed (althoug both double beds, so kids have to sleep under one blanket) and nice living room with kitchen and all the equipment you need for short stay. It was hot during our stay, so we had to keep windows open and both bedroom windows lead to busy street. Hospital is closeby, so some ambulances pass often too. But it was nothing extreme, York is not a busy town at night. Overall we vere very pleased with our stay.

A twin bed in one of the bedrooms would be nice for the families.

A great property only a short walk from York city centre. The property was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed for our stay. It was great value for money, especially considering we had an entire flat between 2 guests. Check in was easy with all information, access codes etc, being provided via direct messages on Booking.com Thank you for a great stay 😀

Too many broken bits. Window blinds didn’t work. Rubbish/Pedal Bin didn’t work. No local parking.
