Lovely cosy place heating system set up lovely lots of room . funky lights.

Disappointing
It’s full of character. It has a secure parking space. The quirky decorations are fun.
The heating has to be restarted every two hours. The property isn’t properly insulated so it gets very cold very quickly once the heating goes off. When we arrived the owner had put the heating on for an hour but it was still very cold. It also smelt of damp. The main double bed is a camp bed with an uncomfortable mattress. We did some washing up in the kitchen and the water came up through the bath and it was clear that there is a blocked drain somewhere as it smelt very bad. We are a family with two children. So we had to leave. When I spoke with the owner on the telephone he agreed to refund us for the days we couldn’t stay but then when I asked him to confirm this in writing he denied that there were any problems with the property and claimed that I was inventing problems.

The quirkiness!
Lack of basic kitchenware! At leading one front ring not working on the hob! Not fully understanding the hot water and heating until second day! It would need a frying pan and small pan with lid for me to stay again!

We loved the coach house, so full of charm & character with easy access instructions. Would love to know more about the history of the property. All in all we had a fab time & have recommended it already.
We had trouble getting much hot water, but that was probably our fault for not turning the boiler on early enough.. ? The outside seating area looked a little 'unloved' but maybe that's next ...

Beautiful rustic quiet stay
Host was quick at replying to messages. Answering the phone when I arrived at the property and directed me in property was spotless. And had a great vibe to it.
There is a lack of information on how to obtain your keys and also the gate has a lock on it on the drive and I wasn’t sent the code so I had to ring the house however they sent me the code straight. I just think there needs to be some instructions sent via email before each stay
