Trowel and Hammer, Flat 2

Mooi appartement boven een pub/restaurant gelegen op het Engelse platteland. Zeer aardige eigenaresse en medewerkers. Heerlijk bed en fijne douche! Tv met werkelijk alle kanalen. Pima ontbijt op appartement. Bij aankomst bleek dat ze geen bevestiging had gehad van onze boeking en daarom ons appartement als upgrade aan andere gasten had toegewezen. Wij kregen dus een ander (kleiner) appartement. Dit heeft ze fijn opgelost door ons een diner als compensatie aan te bieden.

Het was, zoals overal, bloedheet. Een ventilator zou fijn geweest zijn. Het was 27 graden in het appartement. Persoonlijk vond ik het jammer dat er geen tv vanuit het heerlijke bed gekeken kon worden.

The accommodation was satisfactory and comfortable

The property was advertised and full breakfast, this was not the case, therefore at least £20 per night should be refunded please. The entrance was at the back of the property, accessed via a footpath adjacent to the restaurant kitchen and staff smoking area and finally via a steel staircase that was cold and very slippery. The door frames and some of the ceilings were low and not protected and we both banged our heads. There was only two knives even though the accommodation slept four.

The apartment was spacious with great character. The breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The apartment is directly over the pub, which is not too noisy, but guests should be aware that there is sometimes live music in the beer garden behind, which was very loud.

Beautiful apartment lovely location spoilt by no milk no bread no butter no breakfast included except muesli if I wanna eat it raw n few jams no bread for what we paid should of got the stated included breakfast spoke to people in flat opposite exactly same no breakfast but they gave us there left over milk
