I Cuculi vacation home in Lucca was fantastic, I don't even know where to start. First of all, Nicola and Alice were welcoming and so friendly. They really made us feel comfortable and were always there for us and offered all the help we needed. The home itself is in the most beautiful location, the interior design is authentic and homely. We felt relaxed and did not want to leave! We received a complimentary bottle of wine, coffee pods, a big bottle of water and a cake! There is also a pool outside, we had plans for the day so didn't make use of it but if we had more time we definitely would have. The garden is beautiful and spacious and is a perfect place to sit with a drink. One of my favourite places I've stayed. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit and I'd recommend it to anyone who is in or around Lucca. More than worth it for the price. There is also a bus stop a 5 minute walk away that will take you to Pisa. Thank you so much Nicola and Alice 😊

The only problem we ran into was taxis. Coming from England and not knowing much Italian, we were using taxi apps such as Uber and WeTaxi- they were hit and miss. I would not rely on this. It is best to have a local taxi phone number handy. We told Nicola our problem and she called a taxi for us straight away as we are not great speaking Italian. This is not a bad point against the property, this is just something to be aware of if you are a tourist. Nicola is pleasant to talk to and she's always there if you need any help.

Lovely place to stay

Lovely Italian house, friendly hosts, next to the hills and ten minutes from Lucca, 20 from Pisa, 40 from the beach, 45 from Florence. Excellent location. Good pizza restaurant 20 minute walk

Incantevole abitazione su due livelli che ricorda le case di campagna dei nostri nonni dove poter riposare in tranquillità e comodo appoggio per visitare Lucca e Pisa e molte altre località. Nicola ci ha accolto con gentilezza ed è davvero educato e simpatico. Sempre disponibile per informazioni come del resto anche la mamma che vive accanto e la moglie con la quale ho scambiato messaggi. Insomma si prodigano per soddisfare gli ospiti e si sa non è un lavoro facile. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo considerando anche la posizione.

L'accoglienza e disponibilità di Nicola sono uniche. Casa che ti riporta indietro nel tempo facendoti godere il momento immerso nella tranquillità a metà strada tra Lucca e Pisa. La casa è ampia e c'è tutto l'indispensabile. Davanti alla casa c'è a disposizione un piccolo ma curatissimo giardino con tavolo e sedie per gli ospiti e, per l'estate, un barbeque a disposizione. Dietro il giardino un uliveto della famiglia a disposizione con amaca e sdraio per il relax pomeridiano. Adatto a chi piace la tranquillità e la genuinità della Toscana rustica e degli Host che trasmettono passione e dedizione al proprio lavoro e amore per le proprie radici e per il proprio territorio. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

Ideale per sentirsi a casa

Ottima casa vacanze a conduzione familiare. Comoda per raggiungere Lucca o Pisa, sia con l'auto che con i mezzi pubblici. E' presente un ampio giardino con una stupenda piscina (durante il periodo estivo), e un tavolo all'esterno con barbecue a disposizione per gli ospiti. Una particolare menzione alla signora Fiorella, mamma dell'host, che ci ha fatto sentire "come a casa". Ci ritorneremo sicuramente

Purtroppo si tratta di una vecchia casa, e quindi potrebbe sembrare che i pavimenti siano sporchi, quando invece la pulizia è ottima. Lo stesso per il mobilio che è un po' antiquato, ma completamente funzionale.

Gentilezza e un bellissimo spazio esterno

Ci siamo fermati una giornata per spezzare il viaggio. Proprietari gentilissimi, ci hanno fatto trovare in casa le susine del loro albero, un dolce, caffè e acqua, piccole attenzioni molto apprezzate. Lo spazio esterno è bellissimo, con una piscina che la nostra bimba ha adorato, altalene in legno , un'amaca e tanto verde.
