Lucca sui tetti

Central location . Comfortable

77 stairs to appartment and no lift . Partial air conditioning , 1 bedroom and corridor outside other 2 bedrooms. Ideally would be in all bedrooms and kitchen. Fans provided which were good. It was 33 degrees and 80%humidity when we were there, would have been adequate at lower temperatures. Showers temperamental.

Centralità all’interno delle mura storiche invidiabile, struttura ricca di ogni genere di necessità, anche l’aria condizionata impeccabile, una raritá da trovare all’interno di località storiche. Il fiore all’occhiello è l’host, la cara Margherita, una persona deliziosa e disponibile. Mi sento davvero di suggerire Lucca sui tetti, in particolare a gruppi di amici, per noi,che eravamo 7, è stata una seconda casa. Ci siamo stati in occasione del Lucca Summer Festival, ma è l’ideale anche per il Lucca Comics.

Nulla di negativo da segnalare, giusto ricordarvi che l’interno delle Mura sono ZTL, dunque attrezzatevi se venite a visitare la città con l’auto.

Ottima la posizione dell'appartamento in pieno centro. La proprietaria molto gentile e accogliente e l'appartamento molto grande, spazioso e con tutti i confort.

We loved the position of the apartment which is within the walls of Lucca, 15 minutes walk from the station. It is a lovely traditional flat which is very well equipped . From the windows you look out into the town, can just see the Guinigi tower with the tree from the kitchen window. It’s also very quiet and very spacious. you see bats and swifts swooping about in the evening. The position of Lucca is ideal, great for day trips to Florence (we came to see the Rothko exhibition) Montecatini, and easy from Pisa airport. A beautiful town, plenty to do and some fantastic places to eat. Margherita lives next door and is very helpful but not at all intrusive.

Nothing …. we were very happy with everything, we knew about the stairs and this is a wonderful work out! I m 77 and managed them easily.
