This property is in a great location in a quieter part of the city but very close to some great restaurants and the bus terminal. Beds are very comfortable and the apartment is spotlessly clean. During a very hot spell in Lucca, the air con was fantastic. The host was very responsive to any requests and responded in minutes to messages
We really liked this property although we had expected it to be a bit bigger based on the photos. We were expecting a patio but discovered that the Italian and the Irish definitions of ‘patio’ are slightly different. Having said that, having a host who was so responsive to any requests more than made up for a slight disappointment on the size and we scored the property highly

The location was excellent, close to everything. It was lovely staying in such an authentic Italian apartment. The facilities were good and there was plenty of space for a family of 4. A nice touch was the water and drinks left for us.
The pillow were slightly thin for our liking but that is literally the only negative

The apartment is very quiet and clean.
I was not expecting such a dark apartment. I also did not expect a small enclosed space where you can open a portion of the wall to be the “patio.”
