Overall great little apartment.only drawback was the owner entered it without my agreement on 2 occasions to do plumbin
Well equipped kitchen. Good quality bedding. Excellent heating. Good wardrobe space in master bedroom. Suitable for single as place was in small side but ok for a couple with child. 2 bathrooms. No real view but still pretty to look out onto the tiled roofs next door. Overall well equipped
Being on the third floor of an old traditional building the steps were very step and handrail from second to third floor needs replacing for something more sturdy. Garbage bins about 3 mins walk away

A spotless, modern apartment in a perfect Lucca location, with great amenities and a helpful host!
We had a wonderful stay at this well-appointed apartment in Lucca. The space was spotlessly clean, with modern, immaculate bathrooms and a comfortable bed. The kitchen was very useful and had everything you need. The washing machine was a convenient bonus, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent—just a short walk to the piazzas and local restaurants. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive, which made check-in and planning easy.

Great value for the money: clean, comfortable, well appointed and great location!
The location is great, easy walking distance to anywhere inside the walled city and close to one of the gates. We were in it for three weeks, and had no real issues. The flat is quite spacious, has one double bedsofa in the living room, and one single bedsofa in one bedroom, and a double bed in the other bedroom. There are two quite comfortable and well equipped bathrooms, and a kitchen eating area. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with cooking pots, pans, utensils, and crockery and cutlery. It also has a washing machine and dryer rack. In Europe you rarely use gas or electric dryers but hand your washing out to dry. We were there in winter and the heating worked fine for us once we figured out that the thermostat controls the radiators, and the ac/heating units are independent of the thermostat. We found the apartment clean and tidy and that it provided us with a comfortable retreat during our stay in Lucca. The management company were quite responsive, albeit they usually replied in Italian and had to be asked to reply in English :)
We are a couple in our early eighties and were quite able to maneuver the 42 steps up the stairs each day, often several times a day. But, if you have any mobility issues it's not be easiest since the stairs are quite steep and not very wide. Hardly any buildings in Lucca have an elevator so may be an important consideration.
