L'antica tipografia in Lucca is an amazing nicely remodulated home inside the city walls and in a quite neighbourhood; it is walking distance from the main attractions/main streets; has a close by supermarket that closes at 9.00PM most times, very relaxing for when returning home from trips and visits; hosts were always available to answer any questions we had, very friendly.
The house itself has all commodities for a comfortable stay; kitchen with fridge, dish washer, microwave, toaster and kitchen utensils to prepare a meal; it even has a dryer and washing machine; 2 full equipped bathrooms and main room which is very spacious
Parking isnt permitted within the city wall area itself but there are good options where the vehicle can be left
Alternatively this home is around 15 min walk from Lucca train station that can then take you anywhere you want
I would say that the main bathroom drainage should be checked; water can flood the bathroom floor

A very spacious, lovely apartment. We loved the location. It was great to have a washing machine and dryer! The host also provided lots of information for recommended restaurants/cafes etc in a booklet.
The shower didn’t drain properly and often filled up very quickly.
