A comfortable spacious house, close to the historic centre.

A very spacious house with a well kept garden. An easy walk from the train station and just a few minutes from the walled town.

Only one set of keys meant we had to organise departure/meeting to fulfill 4 slightly different agendas. A few more mugs in the kitchen would have been useful.

It was great for a big group of people or family, very roomy.

It was very close to a grocery store which helped for our week long stay. It was walkable to the historic center. We always felt safe.

There was no basic essentials for cooking provided. ie: salt, olive oil, coffee.

Do not book this during the summer. Lack of AC makes it impossible to sleep.

We were met by Fabiana who was delightful and friendly. Also, the bakery across the road was amazing.

Impossible to sleep in high summer. While it was a little warmer than usual when we went, we did not sleep due to the room being around 30 degrees and the provided fans only stirring this hot air. Also, the house was full of mosquitoes and while we lay awake at night, we were savaged, coming away with 20+ bites between us. Had to abandon our second night here and book somewhere else at great expense.

Superb

Location is very close to a supermarket (3-4 mins walk) and accross the road from a bakery! Really close to the outside of the wall. It was easy to walk in and out of the walled town.

the weather was warm and although there were fans in each of the rooms, it was quite hot sleeping during the night. Kept the windows open however there was some noise from the traffic/ road.

Spacious house with a relaxing back garden

The 4 bedroom spacious house was perfect for us travelling with our 3 adult daughters. The decor was old fashioned but rustic and charming and we loved relaxing in the back garden. We were an easy 8 min walk to Porta Elisa gate to the walled city. Fabiane was very helpful with accomodating our check in as our daughters arrived earlier.

There was no air conditioning and on some evenings the bedrooms were very warm. There were fans in each of the bedrooms which did help a bit. It didn't impact our stay too much and we were aware of this when we made the booking.

Exceptional

This was a fabulous house no more than a 5 minute walk to Porta Elisa and into Lucca. We had plenty of space in the house and a large secure garden for our dog.

Excellent accommodation for a large group

Beautiful house, very clean, with a lot of space for 10 people. Nice decoration, well equipped and spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely backyard, parking in front of the house. Excellent location, just 7 minutes walk to the city walls ( Porta Elisa ). Our host Valentina was kind and helpful in everything we asked.

Lack of air-conditioning ( in our stay, weather was not so hot, so we managed to sleep with opened windows and fans ). Lack of window screens. Sofa bed in the living room is not comfortable for 2 people ( needs a camp bed in this room ).

Very enjoyable

The location was good - 5 minute walk to the walls of Lucca. The property was very spacious and the bedrooms comfortable. The garden was lovely which was nice with the hot weather.

The kitchen crockery (glasses and mugs etc) were not very well stocked and The property didn’t have air conditioning (which we were aware of when booking) but there was a heatwave so we struggled with the heat.

Schönes Haus, wenig Schlaf und leider viele Mängel

Die Lage war super, man kann in die Stadt laufen, Auto vor dem Haus parken und es gibt einen Bäcker auf der anderen Straßenseite

Die Klimaanlage des Hotels nebenan lief dauerhaft auch Nachts. Die Mülltonnen des Hotels direkt unter unserem Schlafzimmer wurden des Nachts geschoben und befüllt, sehr laut. Es gab engegen der Angaben keine Kaffeemaschine und es wurde vom Vermieter keine bereitgesellt, ich habe dann eine gekauft. Der Hund des Geschäftes im Erdgeschoss hat in unserem Garten seine Geschäfte erledigt. Die Couch im Wohnzimmer ist mehr als druchgesessen, man spürt die Latten.
