Town centre abode with gated parking

The location to the town and security of parking was excellent. The property was very nice, modern and had everything we needed.

Unfortunately the cleaner hadn't checked under the one bed and left a bottle of water, hangers and sweet papers from previous guests. However, everywhere else was fine.

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in an excellent location, within easy reach of the town centre while still feeling peaceful. The allocated parking space was very convenient, and the instructions for accessing the keys were clear and easy to follow. Although we only stayed for one night and spent little time in the apartment, it suited our needs perfectly. We prepared pancakes for breakfast and noticed a couple of kitchen utensils were missing, but otherwise everything was as expected.

The apartment would benefit from a little care and attention. There were a few spiders suggesting the cleaning could be more thorough, The bathroom also needs some attention and there was a noticeable smell of smoke entering the bathroom, possibly from a neighbouring apartment or outside, suggesting the ventilation needs checking. In the smaller of the two bedrooms, the double bed is positioned directly against the wall and window. Unfortunately I kept banging my knees on the windowsill during the night.

The location was perfect, the security and parking a bonus. We enjoyed the quietness and accessibility.

We found on arrival the dust level under the sofa, skirting boards and around wooden floor not great. Two puzzle pieces under sofa! So no checks were made. The condition and cleanliness of the microwave was unacceptable...rust and dirt. Obviously it had never been cleaned or checked for ages...unfit to use. The oven was also dirty. A rubbish bin would be useful in the bathroom as well as better quality pillows; they gave no support. A beautiful flat in a great location but signs of unrepaired minor damage and a lack of general maintenance e.g. shower head. Tourist guides or information would have been appreciated. If all of the above were rectified it would be a 5 star rating!

A great location for exploring Shrewsbury. It felt safe and the parking was convenient

Very dusty! In need of a good hoover & dust. We booked as travelling with children and needed a bath however the plug had been removed so couldn’t be used.
