The property was absolutely disgusting filth everywhere, bed sheets had what looked like feces or blood on them

Nothing.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent stay at Noah’s Corner demands brutal honesty. What was marketed as a cosy retreat turned out to be a crash course in lowered expectations and questionable hygiene.
From the moment I stepped inside, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. The toilet and shower hadn’t seen a proper scrub in some time—grime and residue were glaringly obvious. Empty wine bottles were left out like relics from a party I wasn’t invited to, and the rug looked like it had hosted one too. It hadn’t been hoovered or swept, and the floor was visibly dirty, untouched by mop or care.
The bed was perhaps the most unsettling part. It contained ‘bits’—yes, bits—and I had serious doubts about whether the bedding had been changed at all. If you’re looking for comfort, you won’t find it here. The fridge still contained food items from previous guests, which is not only lazy but unhygienic. Skirting boards were coated in dust and cobwebs, and the bathroom sink and splashback hadn’t been cleaned either.
The kitchen was no better. The hob was greasy, the bin still held rubbish, and the chopping board had food crumbs left behind. Even the cutlery in the drawer was dirty—an unforgivable oversight in any accommodation. To top it off, a damaged chair in the lounge sat like a metaphor for the entire experience: broken, neglected, and in need of attention.
Noah’s Corner could be charming with the right care, but as it stands, it’s a disappointment wrapped in dust and disregard. If you value basic hygiene and respect for guests, look elsewhere.
