Be warned.... The hot tub costs extra!!!!!!

The rustic feel was fun and it had everything we needed

It is not advertised on booking. Com that to use the hot tub you have to pay extra. It's presented that the cabin comes with a hot tub as standard, only once I had booked did I get a message saying that to use it I would have to pay an extra £50!!!!!!? And on top of that the booking is non refundable. Giving that the hot tub is clearly the main selling feature this all seemed a very scheming way to charge a lot more than it's worth. Be interesting if others have made this comment.

Great location near to beaches. Cosey and comfortable. Hot tub was a lovely bonus during the evening.

The host Jason was absolutely fantastic, he made us feel completely welcome from the moment we checked in. And was the host with the most! Joey was super friendly and very lovely We will definitely be looking to rebook next year for another girls retreat weekend away

It’s in a lovely quiet part of South West Wales, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the owner was lovely.

There was birds nesting in the hot tub area and it doesn’t look like it actually works, we didn’t try after seeing the birds nesting. There’s also a lot of old cob webs and needs a good spring clean.

Great little find

Loved the feel of the hygge hut and the location is perfect for Freshwater West beach. Had everything we needed with super comfy beds and we used the hot tub both nights which was a hit with our teenager.

The hut is incredibly cozy and sweet you can close the curtains and be in your own world

The host took very good care of us and the hygge hut met all our needs.

The hosts were kind, friendly and very accommodating. The hut had everything you would need plus had full size towels. Joey (dog) was very sweet. He greeted us upon arrival and made sure to greet us daily. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely and cosy, bed was really comfortable! Lovely little touches like a games, fairylights ect perfect for a cozy getaway

Didn't like the hillbilly hottub, Didn't seem very clean and was a bit of a challenge to get in and out of. It was lovely and clean except the glasses ect in the cupboards they were dusty so needed to wash them before use.

perfect for what we wanted

we liked the rustic feel to the hut and would definitely return in mid winter to experience the log burner going ,along with hot tub facility. and the peaceful location is perfect , if you want luxury it may not be for you but we loved it

The property was just like the photos on booking.com. It was in a very peaceful location. The hut had good equipment and the owner was exceptionally helpful. We payed the additional fee for the unique hot tub. We would definitely come again.

Great hut for a short break away with family. Hill Billy hot tub is brilliant!

the hut had everything we needed. Dave our host was helpful and if we needed anything he was prompt in dealing with our requests. the hill billy hot tub was the highlight and would recommend!

Pleasant

Charm of chipped china. The basics like the shower worked fine and the bed is comfy. We have not used the hot tub.

For information: If perfection in details is important for you, reconsider. This is a DIY hut and this is obvious everywhere e.g. loose plank boards and an improvised step to the veranda. The fridge is small; only a folding table and 2 garden chairs for indoor use and a lounge outdoors.

It’s on the Pembrokeshire coastal path. if anywhere else is available look there

the only thing to like about it is the location

it is a wooden shed in a very untidy derelict farmyard. it has a tin roof so all the birds land on it very noisily from dawn onwards. it has no table and chairs. the floorboards are not nailed down in many places. there is no kind of welcome effort made. we did not see the host.

Lovely

Absolutely gorgeous place. Loved the cabin so much. It was so cosy with the fairy lights on and was very accommodating by supplying the tea and coffee. I love the self catering feel to it. We absolutely loved the design of the cabin, it was rustic and you could tell hard work had been put into making it. The owner was super chatty and friendly. The gorgeous Labrador came to visit us in the morning and was happy to have a quick fuss. The hot tub was super! The water temp was just right and super cosy. The bed was so comfortable and the pull out bed was a nice touch to cuddle up on and watch tv.

The cabin was absolutely brilliant however, I have a pathetic fear of birds so after getting into the hot tub, we were joined by a tiny bird who was quite happy chilling but for me, I was completely petrified and couldn’t enjoy it. Obviously that’s nothing to do with the property because birds are part of nature but I just would of preferred it if there was some beaded curtains or something. Again, completely my fault because I’m the one with the fear haha.

We had a thoroughly good break.

The Location was perfect for what we wanted to do. (Walking and appreciation of the natural beauty of the area). The hut is a practical base for people with an outdoor eye who accept basic facilities. This was fine for us. The owners are great. Helpful, knowledgeable.... Good folk.

The driveway to the hut could use some TLC as the potholes are plentiful. The addition of a prominent signpost at the entrance would be helpful as a final 'you're here' for traditional map users. The addition of a clothes rack/drier could be a useful consideration. We were lucky with the weather but if it rains there is nowhere to dry one's kit. A downside to the area, for us, is that there are no pubs/restaurants within walking distance. This is obviously not the fault of the owners but visitors need to be aware that they will have to drive to an evening's entertainment.
