Worst experience of our lives!!!!
Absolutely NOTHING
DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!! The house is absolutely stinking dirty - will make your skin crawl! Within minutes of our arrival our daughter stood in dog shit in the garden. There’s an unpleasant aroma as soon as you open the front door. There were flies/nats everywhere. Every item in the kitchen was dirty - had to be cleaned before use. Shelving in the kitchen cupboards dirty and flies would just sworn out at you every time you opened them. Black bins in the garden covered in maggots. Carpets stinking. The rugs we had to put outside because the stench coming from them was unbearable. Stinking dirty windows, curtains, the floors. Bathroom smelt of damp and rot. Door in the bathroom hanging off the wall with screws protruding from it. In one of the double bedrooms the linen stunk. Dust, hairs and old food under the sofas, behind every piece of furniture. We paid for 2 nights and wish we could have left immediately. We arrived at 6pm after hours caught in traffic with 3 kids and a dog on a bank holiday weekend - we were a total party of 7 and there was absolutely nowhere available for us. We checked out the following morning as soon as we could and by chance found a caravan park happy to fit us into a 6 birth last minute. So we paid for 2 - begrudgingly stayed 1, paid over the odds for somewhere else and I’m fighting to get my money back. So far been awarded £65 as a good will gesture as these amazing hosts refuse to reimburse us. Please, please, please do not book this place I promise you will hate it. It should come with a health warning. Definitely needs fumigating - or even knocking down. Worst dump I’ve ever stepped foot in. I’m so angry and disgusted, everyone is traumatised!!!

Clean house but requires some TLC. It was satisfactory for our needs this weekend.

Needs a bit of TLC- front door, back door, flooring, living room window didn’t have a handle so couldn’t open. Upstairs front bedroom window didn’t open, toilet window didn’t open, bathroom window didn’t close, bent blinds leave the properly down, no bottom shower screen seal so water from shower soaks the floor-hazardous.

House was so unkept and unfinished. Garden was so overgrown it looked soo scruffy. Cracked tiles in bathroom, weeds along entrance path. Dirty skirtings ( I have pictures ). We left after 1 day as all bedroom windows were locked with no keys on windowsill to open them. We felt totally unsafe if there was a fire, so we packed up and left the next morning. The seat of the dinning room chair was disgusting ( again I have a pic). It was faux leather but all shredded and torn. It was the worst property I have ever rented and as I said although we paid for two night we left after one. I will b putting in a formal complaint

Awful place in and out, stay clear!
There is not much to like about this place. The only positive thing was it was spacious and had Basic kitchen utensils. .
It is very much a badly maintained and cheaply done ex council house on council estate. It was not particularly clean either. Bedding was very low quality cheap polyester, many fixtures broken.
Thankfully we only stayed one night, but it was quite awful actually. Stay away!!

Beds were comfortable, lounge was pleasant, tv and WiFi was good
Very very bad leak in the kitchen diner. It was raining when we arrived and the dining area was flooded with the leak dripping from the ceiling. This property shouldn’t have been let out with that leak. It spoilt our holiday as it leaked for over 12 hours while it rained.
When it rained the leak was very bad and we had to use the bin to collect the water. Upstairs in the same area the flooring is sinking.
When I informed the owner I was directed to where I could find a mop. No apology or empathy. We were so disappointed.
It was sunny on our 3rd day but we couldn’t really use the garden as it was unkept and over grown. Our 6 year old wanted to go out and came in holding the neck of a broken bottle !!
Whilst this property sleeps 7, there is literally only 7 forks, 7 knives, 7spoons! This makes cooking and meals difficult with constant washing up. There is no potato masher, no colander, no sieve, no tea towel! So we had to go shopping for kitchen ware to make our Sunday dinner!

Had everything you needed , beds were comfortable but no wardrobes or chest of drawers. Although small hanging clothes rail in all rooms. Nice property, but area not so good.
Didn’t use cooker but well equipped kitchen. Has everything apart from teaspoons . Good TV and Wifi. Bathroom and separate toilet. All clean.
