Very lovely location and also very peaceful with plenty of space

Location, bedrooms, open plan living, lots of free firewood.
Info on surrounding areas, plenty books and cds
Stairs far to steep to twin room, the property needs a through clean top to bottom, checking cutlery and utensils after guests leave. Inside kitchen cupboards and draws

Potato Barn had been well converted for holiday use. We loved the open plan kitchen and living room which was accommodating for entertaining local family one evening as the table seated 6. We particularly liked the collection of Denby crockery. The 2 downstairs bedrooms were very comfortable and we appreciated each having an ensuite. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and the company of Riley the cat.
Overall we liked everything about Potato Barn but a greater selection of smaller saucepans would be helpful in the kitchen ( otherwise it was well supplied). We had originally booked for 5 adults and were pleased it was just the three of us staying as the upstairs bedroom would have been difficult to access and cramped. This is clear in the property description.

Lovely bedrooms, with the added privacy of a bedroom(s) and bathroom being at either end of the spacious shared living area. Well stocked kitchen, and a great selection of games, DVDs, books and puzzles. Lots of comfy places to lounge around and a very well appointed utility room.
The driveway is really bumpy, so walking down it is definitely preferable to driving!

Location was remote and quiet, tastefully decorated and a good size . Private front garden ideal and with lovely established trees and flowers , good for dogs to have a sniff too
Shower was a little small ( husband and I are 6ft tall ) little bit of work needed on grout and shower head . Small detail really

We loved the quiet location, once you turned the light off at night it was pitch dark and silent! Useful to be able to take the dog for a short walk down the farm lane first and last thing. Very comfortable beds and a great selection of utensils, crockery etc in the kitchen. Handy drying room for damp coats and laundry. We especially enjoyed watching the baby swallows in the porch!
Great location for exploring Stackpole and Barafundle.
Nothing to dislike really, but if there had been more than the 2 of us the soft seating could be improved, we used the sofa as we didn't find the "tub" chairs very comfortable.

Brilliant location and had everything you needed to use and more in the barn. Was more than catered for. Lucy met us and she was lovely.

This is a lovely barn. All mod cons mixed with an old fashioned, eclectic mix of furniture. Walks from the door as weather permits! Lucy responded very quickly to any questions we had. A very peaceful location. It’s quite hidden away so “keep the faith” as you drive up the track to the barn!

Very homely and comfortable. Clean and well appointed. Great communication.
Not really a problem for us but could well be for some: the twin room is a loft room, adults can’t really stand up and accessed by a ladder. Would be worth explaining this is the description

It was perfect for our stay in Pembrokeshire! Excellent location for exploring the area (we went as far as Tenby and St. David’s). Fantastic base for day hikes. We appreciated the quiet surroundings, and enjoyed all the amenities the cottage had to offer. The hosts are great to work with—we would highly recommend this property and hope to return someday.

Beautiful location, beautiful barn and so many beautiful places to visit very close. We spent 5 nights here with 5 people, there was ample room for all of us.
I really can’t describe anything I didn’t like about the barn, been wanting to visit Barafundle Bay for years and this barn and location was everything we imagined it would be!!

The comfort of the furnishings. Characterful quirky and atmospheric. Very well equipped but best all the welcoming and thoughtful owner next door. Thank you Lucy.

Everything was perfect, beautiful barn, beautiful location and an amazing garden. My son loved catching bugs and butterflies in the garden and we loved the open plan kitchen/dining/living room and the cosy bedrooms. The Welsh cakes on arrival was a lovely surprise. Thank you!

Quiet location ideal for two couples. Well placed to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast and the old town of Pembroke.
Nothing at all, though a car is definitely required and as well as drivers who can cope with the narrow single lane roads. Fortunately we had both.

The house is very charming, nicer than the photos reveal and its setting is gorgeous, with a very pretty front garden. The main bedrooms are a good size and the kitchen is very well stocked with good cooking equipment. The owners were very welcoming and had set up the wood supply for the fire.

This beautiful barn conversion property was in a quiet and peaceful setting off the beaten path which was just what I was looking for to recharge before the busy Advent season.
I would have to really dig to come with anything that I didn’t like. The fan assist oven was quite noisy and probably needs the fan tightened to alleviate that. This did not diminish my enjoyment of the property at all.

The stylish, light and comfortable open plan living area - all of it was really nice. A home away from home. Thank you 😊
Nothing.
Had hoped to be ae to walk more easily to the coastal path as its so close, but not a problem.

we loved everything - our first trip to Pembrokeshire and it was great!
The very steep ladder steps to the third bedroom - I only went up there once as felt treacherous

Lovely converted property in a beautiful part of West Wales with all amenities. Owners very welcoming and on site if needed.
Access to the barn is via single track roads/lanes and it’s a little way out in the sticks.
Access to the third bedroom is very tricky up a very steep ladder type staircase.

Secluded and private. Ideal for a break from hustle and bustle. Stackpole Quay, Barafundle Bay and Freshwater East all with a few minutes drive.
Under floor heating a huge bonus.

Lovely barn conversion into tranquil and comfortable accommodation, within easy reach of the local magnificent South Pembrokeshire coastal scenery. Hosts Lucy and Peter are welcoming and friendly yet unobtrusive. The unpolluted night sky here is also an additional pleasure.
