Madison Wharf

Very clean. Modern layout, well equipped, plenty of space, nice views of the wharf from the balconies. Location excellent very close to everything you needed, sea , pubs, restaurants and the town centre.

Only things we could criticize are :- 1- Could do with a bigger frying pan (lol) 2- we have a Q5 and the garage was a tight fit especially with the bikes hanging the ceiling. 3- The shower isn’t very power full.

Great views and quiet nice area to stay with easy walk into town. Nice area to eat dinner in main room and comfortable sofa to hang out. Nice to have 2 bathrooms.

The bathroom looked great in the pictures but the shower is super low pressure and hard to use with the bath features. The jacuzzi bath didn’t work. The pump kept switching off and we had enough water in it. Also the garage was extremely hard to park. We had a mid sized car so if you have a chance and want to stay here get a small car. My boyfriend is good at parking and we had a challenge especially navigating around the 2 bikes hang in the garage.

It was spacious very clean and has everything you require . The spa bath was lovely but shower not so good as very slow The location was fantastic didn’t need car at all walked everywhere The host were very approachable and very helpful

Nice view of the harbour , nice kitchen equipment , not that I used any of it .

No parking only in a cramped garage with a pushbike hanging from the ceiling, I had to drive in head 1st so I could get out of my work van but that ment the push bike pedal was resting on my van , even then I struggled to get out the van on the other side ( small car size van ) 4 door cars suv you will have no chance , worst bit about my stay was the water pressure for the shower it just dribbles out and you definitely can’t shower , exactly the same as the bath ( bathroom looks great on booking.com 🤦‍♂️ ) I had to join a local gym just to use their shower facilities , Fairplay to the agents they did send me back £75 and got a Plumber out that day and he said there’s nothing he can do about it. It’s just a low pressure. I was very dubious to book this place up after reading the reviews regarding the garage and the shower/bath reviews . I left on Thursday night after a 8hr day at work and drove 190 miles home instead of leaving Friday morning , the garage is about 100 yards from the apartment block and then you have to get a lift up to the second floor , too much walking involved for me, especially with suitcases etc . I’ve stayed in over 50 apartments/ cottages in Devon through Booking.com and never till now have I left a negative review .
