Superb location, on the beach and walking distance to town centre. It had everything that I needed

Great stay with a perfect location
The property was great and the location was the perfect location just a stones throw from the harbour and pubs etc, beds were comfortable and the property was clean and tidy with parking included.

Only problem was the shower which suddenly went from hot to cold, so had to be quick. Not a deal breaker as used the bath instead.

Disappointed when you have spent decent money. Never felt clean and comfortable the whole stay.
The location is fine and eay walk into town
Everything requires updating. The carpets ,living room sofa and furniture. There is damp coming through the wallpaper on the wall between the bedrooms and the double smells of damp.

There is black mould in most windows, on the sink taps[ shower room ] shower hose.
Most venetian blinds will not drop fully.

Outside table and chairs covered in green algae.
And to top it off we had work men in the above apartment from 08.30 till 16.30 with our car blocked in with 2 vehicles. [ as it happens we didn't need the car.
Oh i forgot to say we had no hot water when we arrived. Eventually I sorted it with the owner after getting no satisfaction through BOOKING .COM !

Lovely location, but a tired apartment
The location is excellent, across the road from the seafront, 2 minutes walk from the marina, the Stuart Line Cruise Office and quayside.
It would have been slightly cheaper to use a hotel but we chose an apartment as we wanted to have access to a kitchen and be able to cook meals (there’s a very good wet fish shop in the marina). The electric hob is slow to heat up, but ok. However, it was a shock to use the oven and discover how poor it was at warming up at all. I eventually turned it up to the highest heat to get a moderately warm oven (it was an equally lengthy process to get the shower to run hot). The kitchen generally needs some TLC, with the edge of some cupboard doors showing damage and drawers positioned so that they can’t open fully.
High use surface areas and floors were well cleaned. However, the top cupboard above the extractor fan was very dirty, as were the edges of the floor and skirting boards in the bathroom. No washing up liquid had been provided, which probably accounts for why many cups etc were dirty. Overall, the apartment comes across as tired: walls have recently been repainted, but this fails to give a good finish, as the wallpaper has been repaired by patching in too many areas; none of the Venetian blinds in the front windows reach the bottom of the window and the three in the bay window differ in length from each other. The back yard, the first impression one gets of the property as it’s where you access the keys, is entered through a gate which has already decayed beyond effective repair and features plant pots with dead plants and healthy weeds.
I am sorry to point out these defects. The place has the makings of an excellent holiday let, but for the moment falls well short of its potential, I believe. One final issue is more serious but will, I’m sure, be remedied quickly: the lock between the apartment and the front hall of the building malfunctioned during our stay and refused to open. We had to go round through the front door and open with the key from the other side. This is a fire safety hazard.

We liked the location. It is right at sea front. And it is very near The marina where we got on the boat for cruise.

Very poor accommodation in a great location!
Scruffy,tired,worn,stains on furniture,mould on edge of bath,cracked glass in window of main bedroom. There are five blinds and four were broken! Stains on hall carpet and the whole flat was not very clean!

Very disappointed, We only stayed one night
Sea front location
Bedrooms smelt musty and unable to open window in main bedroom as there is a cracked window pane. There is a gap between kitchen door and door frame, kitchen Windows covered in condensation and woodwork black with dirt/mildew. Bathroom floor, shower screen and grouting around bath discoloured with dirt. Hall and bedroom carpets dirty and threadbare. A lot of updating required to bring flat up to a reasonable standard.

Alles super... gerne immer wieder!
Die Lage ist super. Der Strand und das Zentrum sind fußläufig zu erreichen. In der unmittelbaren Nähe sind ein gutes Restaurant sowie zwei Pubs. Auch der Hafen mit Ausflugsbooten liegt um die Ecke. In der Ferienwohnung selbst findet man alles was man braucht. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, das Wohnzimmer hat einen SmartTV und die Betten sind super bequem. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Besten Dank!
