Quirky house in great location. Needs a bit of tlc.

Absolutely brilliant location - close to everything we wanted. Bed in main bedroom was very comfortable. Pub a few doors down is a delightful get. Parking was a bonus - but for one rather than 2 cars.

Off loading was awkward- having to put hazard lights on - on a narrow road. Quite stressful when cars held up behind us. Then had to hurry off to the allocated parking. Parking was a street away. We found it incredibly tight for 2 cars. I had to climb over the passenger seat to exit the second car. Down a narrow service road , there’s a neighbouring garage steps to manoeuvre round and a wall opposite the car port. Took a lot of effort. I guess I’m too old for all that. Others may not mind it. We were asked to strip beds upon leaving. Wish I hadn’t seen the stained pillow I’d been sleeping on!! Looking for kitchenware, found a baking tray I wouldn’t wish to use. Needs removing.

We enjoyed our stay very much.

Couldn't fault the location. It was close to shops and amenities, the beach was a short walk away and we had family living just round the corner.

We have stayed at the premises before and felt really at home there. We would have liked to stay longer. One thing I would say is, thicker curtains in the bedrooms would have been nice.

Cosy Cottage

Great location for shops parks & beach. Plenty of cafes restaurants & eateries. Dog friendly with lovely walks. The cottage was well equipped & comfortable. Heating was good. Adele was very friendly & helpful.

We had issues with the back sliding door to the garden. No light working in the living room & no bedside lights working. I did buy a new bulb for side light! Overall we enjoyed our stay & would recommend to friends & family.

Good property and good location to the town

Good location for the town but a little walk to the beach. Nice house with lots of room Keys in coded box on outside of property.

We ordered food to be delivered but the driver had problems finding the property. No near parking but the hosts did have a solution but a bit of a walk. Cold and had no way of turning the heat up. Lots of instructions to handle the rubbish and told to put out for collection on Wednesday, we were not at the house on a Wednesday so I emailed the owners but had no reply or answer.. Could do with a lick of paint all over

Very proud family having a lovely long weekend

We had 2 cars travelling to the property, so by having a key lock box outside the front door meant it didn’t matter who arrived first.

The code had been changed from the original one sent to us. An email had been sent to us saying there was a message on our booking, but that came while travelling. So we didn’t realise until after we’d struggled with the old code. Once I’d checked emails and had new code, we were straight in.

Very good but requires maintenance

The house was clean and spacious, and the kitchen was well equipped. The garden area was pleasant. The location was good for town and beach. Although by chance, I met a person standing in for the host on the first day who was very helpful in locating parking and providing directions to shops and beach. She was also very responsive when we had a problem with the hot water. She organised a plumber and kept us informed throughout.

The boiler malfunctioned, and we had no hot water for the first 24 hours of our stay. The decking in the garden is deteriorating in places and felt a little precarious. We were asked to transfer food waste from the kitchen caddy to a bin outside, but the bin appeared to contain foul liquid.
