The entire stay at Locanda Mimmo was excellent. Wonderful welcome, the children loved practicing their Italian and chatting with the staff.
The apartment was perfect, clean, well laid out with very comfy beds! The view from the kitchen window was worth the steps up to the apartment.
We ate in the restaurant in the evening, this was a fantastic experience. The Sommelier’s knowledge of wine was exquisite and a fabulous performance to see as he danced through the wines with such grace.
Food was fantastic.
Breakfast was also lovely and the children left suitably stuffed with cakes
We will return.

We had a great stay. It is very pleasant. Their restaurant is also great for dinner options and the breakfast was enjoyable and had a lot of fresh options

We absolutely loved our stay here. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is superb, on the Main Street in the old town but we found it to be the slightly quieter end - which is good!
We dined in their Da Mimmo restaurant and it was very good. Bonus is they offer 10% off to their guests at their restaurants and bakery - what a lovely touch. It was busy so I’d book ahead via reception.
Location - It is the opposite end to the Citta Alta funicular so if coming from the airport, I would recommend getting the airport bus (No. 1) to the Colle Aperto stop and it’s a quick 4 minute walk from there.
We staying in the two bed apartment and it was so spacious. Everything worked and it was extremely clean. There are a lot of stairs to that particular unit so just be mindful if you have mobility issues.
All in all, if we were coming back to Bergamo, we’d happily stay here again!
