Nothing as didn’t even get to stay!

Attitude of host. Hung up and blocked when asked for code. Cancelled booking on me after 3 hour check in time. Said he’s refunded but HASNT!

Good memory in Edinburgh

Due to the potential difficulty in understanding various accents over the phone, I recommend using WhatsApp to contact the host via the platform first. The host will promptly send a check-in SOP video. I stayed for four nights, and the host provided welcome drinks and Nespresso coffee capsules. It takes just over 20 minutes to walk from the house to Edinburgh Castle. There is a Lidl supermarket right at the entrance of the alley. One evening, my kids joined a spontaneous basketball game in the park behind Lidl and played for two hours — they had a great time. Since the house is located right at the edge of the S4 controlled parking zone, I suggest looking for free parking around the intersection of Russel Road and Sauchiebank Road, which is outside the restricted area and only a 10-minute walk from the property. The condition of the house is as shown in the pictures; I think it’s quite acceptable. I'm very grateful for this place during my time in Edinburgh.

Initially, communication with the host over the phone was a bit difficult, and I was genuinely worried that the booking might be canceled. However, once we switched to WhatsApp, everything went smoothly. Also, the seagulls are very loud in the early morning — you’ll definitely wake up without needing an alarm clock.

Space is good. Location is very convenient, although not exactly a pretty neighbourhood.

Check-out time (9am) is earlier than usual (10 or 11am). Some tiles are cracked.

Nice place to stay

If I had read the other reviews I would not have booked, but it turns out the place and the host are just fine. There was a problem with the water heater and he fixed it right away. He was always polite and professional.

The beds are not great; they could use replacement. Otherwise everything was great.

Host was very rude

Host was very rude. He did not send check in instructions earlier. I try to ask car parking details but first he hanged up the phone to my face. Later he texted and threatened to cancel the reservation.

Attention to last-minute Switches

Just before check-in, the manager had switch for other apartment saying that the keys of the one reserved have been lost... The one offered was OK but far away from Center. Antes do check in o manager trocou para outro apartamento que também explora, informando que tinha perdido as chaves... A opção era cancelar a reserva...

The Stress before Check in. Didn't like to go to another place that wasn't the one reserved...

La ubicación

Las camas son horribles. Nunca había dormido en un colchón en tan mal estado, no hay ningún muelle que no esté sacado. El somier está completamente partido. En la foto aparecía una mesa de comedor con sillas que no estaba. La bañera tiene un lado que está partido y corta.
