Double room, living space and bathroom, in a family home, near Ulverston

We were here for only one night. The hosts were extremely helpful, helping with our bags on arrival (in pouring rain) and when we left. Breakfast was of the help yourself kind, and there was plenty to choose from - cereal, fruit, bread and home made jam and marmalade. I should have taken the butter out of the fridge overnight! We ourselves had a couple of minor issues, which the hosts helped us overcome with sensitivity. I can't thank them enough for that.

Although you have yoour own sitting area as well as a bedroom, the space isn't entirely private, as both these rooms are off the landing to the family's own rooms. This could have been made clelarer in the description. Sat nav is not reliable for this property.

Reasonably good choices

A wider choice of breakfast cereals could have been warmer in the rooms hosts were outdoor people and didn't feel the same way we did.
