It is a beautiful house with very high end furnishings and products. Lynne the owner is lovely and provided a beautiful breakfast for us cooked to order alongside gorgeous yoghurt and compote, fresh pineapple and water melon, cereals, toast with jam or marmalade, all eaten whilst having stunning views of the estuary. The house is lovely and warm and smells divine.

Fantastic value and stay.

Wonderful location with amazing views. Plenty of parking. Great size room. Really comfortable bed and enormous bath! Practically on the beach with pub, shop and chippy nearby. What more could you need! Had a great stay.

Lynda was a lovely host and greeted us, made us feel welcome. The bed was one of the comfiest I have slept in for a long time. Good quality linen too. Lynda knows what she is doing, she does it well with no fuss and that makes a really pleasant stay. A great breakfast with yoghurt, cereal and a cooked breakfast with option for fresh coffee too. We have been to the area before, it is fantastic and the view Lynda's B&B has is truly mesmerising.

Lovely warm welcoming return stay, host is very flexible as I was arriving late evening after travelling a distance. Gorgeous spacious rooms and bathrooms everything you could possibly need

Excellent comfortable and a great welcome from Lyn .

Very clean comfortable everything supplied . Lovely position looking over the sea . Breakfast was a great highlight local produce and ingredients used even Lyn’s home made damson jam . Lyn was an excellent host and we will use her home again on our way up to Scotland again highly recommend.

Good room, but disappointed with the management of the stay.

- Lovely shower and very large and soft towels. - Large bathroom and decent sized bedroom. - Nice bedding which was comfortable. - Quiet room and quiet location.

-Multiple texts in quick succession to personal phone (rather than via app) in the morning asking what time I was arriving. When I said 3pm, I was told she would be out then. When I clarified what this meant, owner asked me to arrive later in the day. - Front door was locked and I needed a key to get out of the house in the morning. This does not meet legal fire regulations. - Milk in the fridge was off and lumpy - when I messaged, the reply was "no worries, I'll come and collect it". Would have been better with small coffee making facilities in room. - Lots of dust/cobwebs on walls and mould around bath.

Lovely stay in Haverigg

The whole place is so clean and welcoming, and the views from the breakfast room are stunning across to the estuary and sea beyond. The breakfast was well worth the extra £8.50. A lovely stay.

Very friendly host, I was made to feel welcome. Great room, very comfortable with lots of space and a separate area for making a tea/coffee or having a snack. Perfect location for stay, enjoyed an early evening walk and a bite to eat at the local holiday park cafe.

A great getaway for a few days away from it all.

Lynne was a very good host - willing to help in any way but leaving us to ourselves otherwise. As well as our room there were two lounges and a breakfast room overlooking the bay. The breakfasts were excellent and very good value for money. For early evening meal we would suggest the Bear on the Square in nearby Millom (5.30 - 7.30pm) Ravenglass railway only half an hour away.

Haverigg is a bit out of the way so be prepared to do that extra bit of driving. The "beach" at Haverigg would be disappointing if you had come for a seaside holiday.

Lovely stay

The location was great, overlooking the sea, nice costal walks. The bed was a king-size bed and the room and bathroom spacious. The breakfast was delicious and Lyn was very good at ensuring we had enough to eat.

There's no t.v. in the room, but there's a lounge with a t.v. that can be used. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room but there's a room where tea or coffee can be made.

We had a lovely warm welcome and as the only couple stopping for those few days we had plenty of space to move around in and sit in, a lovely view of the estuary out of the breakfast room window

Could of done with tea/coffee facilities upstairs to save going up and down the stairs with hot drinks or a tv area downstairs in the conservatory

Perfect accommodation/ perfect host

Lyn was a fantastic host. We had a lovely room and our own separate bathroom. Beautiful property and opposite the beach. Close to family who were staying on a campsite near by. We didn't try the breakfast as we had it with the family. Would 100% stay here again if we visit this way in the future. Thank you so much Lyn 😊
