Traditional pub accommodation. Cosy, busy, well appointed. Good pub menu, great breakfast. Log fire.
Some noise from residents passing the bedroom. Not well sound proofed. Bathroom cold due to window that could not be closed.

Location perfect for walking and exploring local area. Excellent Sunday roast meal. Clean and comfortable beds. Friendly staff especially Leah who looked after us very well

Truly excellent dinner at a remarkably reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff who tried hard to resolve a problem and worked heroically to run the hotel, bar and restaurant. Plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast was good too.
There was no hot water or heating in my room when I arrived, which was not welcome after being out walking in the cold. It did not come on until after 7pm, despite repeated attempts to get it working by the staff.
If you want a quiet room, ask for one at the back. Room 3 is directly above the bar.
