Great bed tasty breakfast, quiet in spite of being a pub
Bath ran very slowly. Check in a bit chaotic. Not enough furniture to put things on. Terrible coffee

Convenient for the station and the CTC walk. Well turned out room ( looked like recently decorated) and good size, but oddly small bed. Bathroom needs a refurb. Helpful staff, good atmosphere in bar. Good breakfast sausage .
Room cold when arrived, warmed up by the next morning with radiator turned up. Bed a bit small .

Truly excellent dinner at a remarkably reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff who tried hard to resolve a problem and worked heroically to run the hotel, bar and restaurant. Plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast was good too.
There was no hot water or heating in my room when I arrived, which was not welcome after being out walking in the cold. It did not come on until after 7pm, despite repeated attempts to get it working by the staff.
If you want a quiet room, ask for one at the back. Room 3 is directly above the bar.
