Super friendly and welcoming hosts who truly made our stay memorable. We loved the individually prepared breakfast, where we could choose from several options each day. Our room was modern and well equipped, with a great bathroom and a lovely terrace offering beautiful sunset views. The check-in process was easy and straightforward. I can definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay near Stellenbosch!

This was such a super nice stay in a former wine cellar with two levels, spacious, extremly lovingly furnished with a little garden with braai opportunity and supernice hosts. We were even allowed to use the hot bath tube which is located in the garden and heated with woodfire, admiring the sunset and the rise of the stars in the unforgattable land of South Africa. Thank you so much, dear hosts, for having us and giving us such a special time!

It was a wonderful stay, even though short. Next time hope to spend a few more days & explore.

The location and the views are beautiful, safe, secure and peaceful accommodation. We were met with friendliness and the room had everything we needed. I left very early in the morning to run a race in Stellenbosch and the host was kind enough to serve me a delicious breakfast, freshly prepared, even though the timing was just out of the cut-off time and this was after a much needed shower after running. This left a great impression about the kind of place and hosts. I would recommend Gilgal to anyone who finds themselves in the Stellenbosch area.

Perfect Beautiful Stay!

One of the best places i've been in SA because of the Host's attention to detail! The room is beautiful and very very comfortable but what i love the most was the care for us during our stay. From having free snacks in the room to asking if they could arrange a baby bath for our baby or even do some washing for us. The breakfast was also done with so much care and it was delicious!

Wunderschöne Lage inmitten von Weinreben. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Gutes Frühstück und es wurde für uns extra der Hot Tub aufgeheizt :). Wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen. Tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis! Wenn wir das nächste Mal in Südafrika sein sollten, kommen wir hier gerne wieder.

ich wüsste nicht, was man besser machen könnte :). Vielleicht ein paar mehr Steckdosen mit EU-Stecker am Bett, aber das ist schon jammern auf hohem Niveau ^^

Prachtig huis, te midden van de wijnvelden met al de voorzieningen die je maar kan indenken.

We were welcomed very warmly into the incredibly beautiful cottage. The interior design is absolutely stunning: you can clearly see the time, care, and attention to detail that went into it. The surroundings are wonderful as well. In addition, the hostess is extremely friendly and even surprised us with breakfast waiting in the fridge. We were pleasantly surprised and would love to come back!
