Location was great - right in the middle of Exmouth and close to all the places we needed to get to - M&S, the railway station, the beach, coffee shops and restaurants. A modern two bedroom flat with an en-suite too!
A few more bits and pieces in the kitchen (e.g. a cheese grater) and instructions for the hob

Booked this place as all rooms for a popular Latin dance festival in Devon had been fully booked. Based on the pictures, I assumed it would be a simple basic place to shower and get ready. How wrong I was - the apartment was a lot better than expected. I would argue that the pictures don't do the place justice.
Some of the things I liked (see below):
- welcoming and responsive host when items needed replenished
- quiet area
- safe and ideal location - many cafes, pubs and restaurants all within walking distance; spoilt for choice
- modern apartment that felt homely
- spacious
- comfortable bed
- strong, fast and reliable Wi-Fi
- great value for money
- great heating insulation; easy-to-operate thermostats
- modern bathroom - heated towel rack and
- house decor complemented modern apartment
- walkable distance to seafront
- simple instructions (maybe a step-by-step guide with pictures) to use the microwave/oven and hob would be useful - it was fairly easy to figure out, but some older friends struggled; if a physical person was not present, it was difficult to explain.
- depending on the number of guests, consider max. 2 key sets.
- Only Tesco express and M&S foodhall is within walking distance; other grocery stores are a 6 min drive (~40 minute walk); something to consider if you plan on self-catering.
