About this house rental

Immaculate house with front row views of the estuary and just a few steps to the beach. The house is three stories, each one having amazing views. With four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, you will have plenty of space to relax. The kitchen and living areas are designed to accommodate 8 people. From the large living room, kitchen, dining area, garden/patio and master bedroom, you will have spectacular views of the estuary and surrounding areas.

First floor: Kitchen and dining area that can seat 8 people. Bedroom with 2 single beds. WC. Back garden/Patio with seating for 8. Garage for storage of bikes and kayaks. Utility room with washer and dryer.

Second floor: Living room with balcony with amazing views, seating for 8+. Bedroom with 2 single beds. Full bathroom with shower.

Third floor: Master bedroom with amazing views, super-king bed and ensuite. Second ensuite bedroom with king bed.

Location: The house is situated right on of the estuary sharing a beach with the sailing club. Exmouth town centre, sea front and train station are within a few minutes walking distance. It is situated in Devon on the Jurassic Coastline which is a World Heritage site. There are 2 miles of golden sandy beach; ideal for swimming, water sports and spectacular cliff top views. Exeter, a cathedral city, is 8 miles, and Dartmoor National Park is 20 miles.

We provide some basic essentials, tea, coffee, sugar, salt/pepper, milk to get you started. Linens and towels are provided.

Parking onsite for up to 2 cars, and nearby street and paid parking. This is a quiet residential area. No parties, No events.

My wife and I have just a very relaxing two weeks at Schooners - helped by glorious weather! This front-line property exceeded our expectations - uninterrupted views of the estuary, very comfortable, spotless accommodation with everything one would need, a good base for touring East Devon and close to both Exmouth beach and the town for shopping etc. The Exeter branch of Waitrose also delivers, if needed. All in all, we had a very enjoyable time here.

Schooners was very clean and had everything we needed for our holiday. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully presented - views and sunsets were amazing. It was a little slice of perfect, we would love to return. The location has everything and Exemouth is much nicer than I expected.

This house is in a wonderful location. The views are stunning. It's easy to walk everywhere and there are excellent restaurants and a great fishmonger. The house is very well appointed and comfortable. Highly recommended.

This house certainly lived up to it’s description. It is spacious, well equipped and has beautiful views. Easy pleasant walks to good restaurants and beach and water taxi. Hired bicycles, went kayaking, took train to Topsham - a pretty village 10 minutes on the train. A really enjoyable week!

We stayed a week in August. The weather was very good and we had some fabulous views from each floor. All the rooms were much bigger than I was expecting . A good range of kitchen utensils and two under the counter fridges with a freezer in the utility room. A really good well thought out accommodation.

Exmouth Quay is a marina development of the old docks. It is a top quality development of well designed buildings, a mix of apartments and town houses in stunning surroundings. Our town house faced west out over a rough sand and stone beach but with lovely golden sand above the high tide line. Beach is not as busy as main beach which starts just the other side of the marina and comprises two miles of golden sand. The town is 5 mins walk. The property is well appointed with everything you need. The bedrooms are all good doubles. There are three good size bathrooms. The first floor lounge is large with ample seating for eight and incredible elevated panoramic views over the Exe estuary to Dawlish Warren, Starcross and Powderham. I cannot rate this holiday let highly enough.

Lovely property, in great condition, set in an excellent location with stunning views over the estuary. Good to visit at any time of year. Adam was very efficient and helpful throughout the whole booking process. There’s lots to do in the area or just relax and watch the changing face of the estuary as the tide comes in and out.

This is one of the best holiday lets we have used. The property is imaculately kept with high quality furnishings and facilities. The location is perfect with fantastic views across the Exe estuary, and an ever-changing landscape throughout the days. It might be a bit of a squeeze for two families with two cars, but you cannot fault the provision of kitchen equipment, which is often a let-down for true self-catering. There is plenty to see and do within walking distance, and Exmouth is a lovely sea-side town. Well worth a re-visit in the future!

Amazing property with waterfront sea/estuary views, an ever changing picture. The house was spotless, the bedrooms were very comfortable and the living room was a lovely place to sit and watch the sea Or from the balcony attached. The patio area is larger than appears in the photos. The kitchen diner leads straight to the patio from which we had had many lunches or pre dinner drinks. Can’t wait to go back.

All 6 of us had a great stay in this newly-renovated house. There was plenty of space with the property being on 3 floors and plenty of bathrooms to keep everyone happy. It's a great property for a large family or 2 families together. The furnishings are of good quality and the decor is very pleasing to the eye. The location is excellent with an easy 25 minute walk to the main town beach and a small pebbly beach right outside the house. Also an easy 10 minute work to the town. The views are absolutely stunning and the sunsets sublime. Definitely recommend!

The house is absolutely superb, well located very short walk to the beach and town. The views of the estuary is breathtaking from outside, the kitchen, living room and master bedroom. Marina is close by if you need to take taxi to Dawlish Warren (£5 return) and other ferries across the estuary. The Estuary cycle path is nearby, it does have hills if you have young ones be aware. Our 5 kids absolutely loved their vacation!
