Casa Palma Suites

Beautifully decorated cosy rooms, great little pool and outdoor seating area outside our room. In a great location right in the Old Town of Vlore, in the heart of lots of nice bars, restaurants and cafes!

There were lots of little flies in our bathroom that subsequently came into our room. Our room was also looking out onto the street which had its perks, but also meant we couldn't really let natural light in.

Casa Palma Suites is a beautifully designed and stylish property, with a lot of attention to detail throughout the rooms and common areas. Everything was clean and well maintained. The location in Vlora Old Town is a big plus. The hotel is on a pedestrian-only street, so there is no traffic directly outside, while there are plenty of lively bars, restaurants, and charming architecture right around the corner. The main promenade is about a 20-minute walk away, and there is also the option of taking the bus. The pool is small but pleasant, with a comfortable temperature. It was never crowded during our stay, and we always found enough space to sit. The AC in the room worked very well, and the Wi-Fi was also good. Daily room cleaning is available, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back. We felt it was a good place to stay for the price.

The main downside was the parking situation. The parking area is shared between multiple hotels and, although we always had a place to park, the cars are arranged in a way that often means another car has to be moved before you can leave. There is someone responsible for rearranging the cars, but this makes the whole parking experience less convenient and somewhat stressful. On one morning, we were woken up at around 8:00 because our car needed to be moved. The person who contacted us was responsible for the parking for the hotel, although he was actually working with another hotel. We gave him our car key so he could move the car, but unfortunately he forgot to close the window afterwards. Nothing serious happened, but it was not an ideal experience. One practical thing to keep in mind is that everything at the hotel is cash-only, including check-in and drinks by the pool. This is mentioned on Booking.com, and you can pay in either euros or Albanian lek. There is also an ATM nearby, so it is manageable, but it is worth being prepared.

A beautiful and spacious suite, decorated in a lovely boho style. The view was gorgeous, and from our cosy rooftop terrace we looked out over the pool and garden. The location is perfect: right in the centre and close to lots of lovely restaurants.

Nothing – we had a lovely stay!

Globalement l’hôtel est très charmant, emplacement sympas dans une petite ruelle plutôt animée (peut-être très bruyant la nuit.) Le personnel était très à l’écoute et sympas, la piscine est un plus.

La chambre était tout près de la porte d’entrée de l’hôtel, pratiquement dans la rue ce qui était très dérangeant, manque d’intimité et beaucoup de bruit. Nous avons été très déçue de notre chambre, à notre arrivée nous avons eu l’impression d’être étouffée, c’était sombre et très humide. Nous avons trouvé des mouches dans la salle de bain et la chambre… L’humidité au sein de la chambre était fort présente, cela peut vraiment être dangereux. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, au vu des conditions et surtout du prix auquel nous avons payé le séjour. La réceptionniste nous a aidé et nous a proposé une chambre pour finir le séjour.
