Il Toret

- Excellent communication with the host – always friendly, helpful and responsive. - Great location close to the city centre, on a quiet street, although the neighbourhood itself isn't the most inviting. - Raised ground-floor apartment – just a few steps to get in. Convenient, but no balcony or view. - Spacious with high ceilings. - Large, very comfortable bed (but watch your head!). - Well-stocked kitchen with oil, spices, plenty of coffee capsules for the Nespresso machine and complimentary snacks. - Quirky, personal decor – feels like a real home rather than a generic rental apartment.

- Quite dusty in places – more thorough dusting would definitely help. - No proper kitchen knife or cutting board. - No iron or ironing board. - Towels smelled musty. - Limited wardrobe space, mostly occupied by spare linen and towels. - Quite dark, with little natural light. - No comfy armchair or sofa to relax on – the dining chairs aren't ideal for longer sitting.

The apartment is perfectly equipped and the host was friendly and always available. The location of the apartment is excellent as it has a bus connection to the city center nearby. The largest Italian market is within walking distance, about 15 minutes. There are many Asian restaurants and shops nearby. LIDL is also a 10-minute walk away. Parking is free, just a little effort is needed to find a parking space in the area. I would recommend the apartment to families as it is fully equipped and on the ground floor (5 steps). It is a must to visit the Basilica of Superga with the cogwheel railway, the Egyptian Museum, the Antonelli Tower and as mentioned the largest Italian market.
