Porta Palace Apartments

The room was nice and spacious and is ideally situated in the old town, close to the historic centre and restaurants, bars etc.

The property doesn't look that appealing from the roadside on arrival, but once through the courtyard doors, the building is as per the photos. The apartment was a little tired, but fine for one night and good value. It was quite a hike up the stairs with our luggage to our top floor apartment.

Location was amazing though rough in parts.

Noting really, car park access was difficult so we stuck with Filiberto nearby.

The size of the apartment was great, it was very clean with good kitchen facilities.

We were disappointed there was only 2 teabags, sugars & coffee pods for a 2 night stay.

Location very central. Apartment is well equipped for 2 adults (or as family room) but too small for more.

Misleading description led us to believe it was a one-bed apartment incorporating a bedroom and living room. In fact, it's a studio/one room apartment, with a sofa bed and double bed in one living area. OK as a family room for parents/children maybe - but not suitable for more than 2 adults. We had to rebook one of our group into other accommodation at extra cost. Porta Palace claimed this was a problem with booking.com's description options and referred us to them - but the description on its own website also implies there are 'bedrooms' when the beds are in living rooms.
