雲があり屋上で見れなかった初日の出が、食堂から見れてとても嬉しかったです。 年越しそば、年始にぜんざい振舞っていただき最高の新年を迎えることが出来ました。 連絡なしでチェックイン前に荷物預かって頂こうと言ったにも関わらず丁重に対応していただき大変ありがたかったです。 おかげで身軽に観光できました。 お部屋も広くベットも心地よかったです。 本当にありがとうございました。

Beautiful and authentic place, perfect to experience traditional Japanese accommodations. It was my first time sleeping on tatami, and I slept really well!

Nothing to mention really. I travelled with a friend who spoke Japanese, so there was no problem with communication. However, you might need to use your translator if you don't speak the language. Just be sure to have a translation app downloaded and you should be perfectly fine navigating your stay.

The hotel facilities are quite old and the property has a lot of stairs, so I would recommend using a travel bag rather than a suitcase, especially if you have heavy luggage. The room is in traditional tatami style and very spacious. However, you need to make your own bedding, and some of the facilities are quite dated. We also had an issue with the toilet tank, but the staff came quickly to fix it. Overall, while the hotel could benefit from some renovation and updating, we really appreciated the warm and attentive service.

It seems that the hotel is managed by just one staff member, with one lady responsible for breakfast. Despite the limited staffing, both were very friendly, helpful, and responsible.
