Geisha House Atami - fireworks view

スタッフの方がとても優しかったです。ロケーションも最高です。近くにドラッグストアもらあるし便利です。行った日は曇っていましたが、夜は暗く静かなので星が綺麗に見えるだろうなぁと思いました。畳の部屋とフローリングがあり、2階建てで部屋数もあるので家族でまたぜひ行きたいです！

坂がきついので車で登るのがとても怖かったです。あと冬の時期はとても寒いと思います。お風呂にも入りましたがすぐに湯冷めするくらい寒かったです。暖房は各部屋についていますが、乾燥も気になりずっとつけてられなかったので、加湿器などあればよかったなと思いました！

お琴勉強のため日本にいらしたオーストラリア出身の方が運営していらっしゃいました。日本的なしつらえをにさっていましたが、とても上手で、日本文化を充分理解された上でのものと思いました。　ゲイシャハウスにちなみ玄関に美人押絵の羽子板があったり、とくに座敷は工夫なさっていて居心地の良い空間でした。民泊をよく利用しますが、今までで一番よかったです。　調味料、ドリップバッグのコヒーなども用意されていました。

We had a truly exceptional stay, thanks to our wonderful hosts, Miranda and John, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The home itself is charming, cozy and very spacious, perfect for a family of up to six. It was impeccably clean, thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need and incredibly comfortable. We were especially touched by the little extras: sweets, fresh bread, butter, milk, jam, tea, coffee, even ice cream for kids! The neighborhood is peaceful and safe, and we loved the easy 15-minute walk to the public beach, which became part of our daily routine. Miranda and John were always quick to respond and available when needed. Without a doubt, this has been our best stay yet, and we are already looking forward to coming back next time we are in Atami. Highly recommended!

Absolutely nothing, it was perfect for us. If you are traveling with toddlers, just keep in mind that the house has two floors with stairs, so a bit of extra attention may be needed, as with any multi-level house with stairs.

What a wonderful house with a very nice welcome with coffee, tea, cookies, lemons..even toast and jam for breakfast...miranda and john took care of us and even helped us with organising something for us...although it was only 2 nights we really enjoyed the stay...PS look for the secret room..its fun;)
