Casa Carla Beautiful private home with large terrace and gated entrance.

Casa Carla offers great living space and a spacious outside patio. We were two couples, and we each had a comfortable bedroom with plenty of storage space and a nearby full bathroom. A smaller third bedroom has two single beds. As others have noted, you are near the train station, and you must climb many steps to get to the apartment. Paolo and Julia communicated with us clearly and even helped us reserve parking.

House is lovely with great terraces. The train is nearby and quite loud if the windows are open. Excellent laundry, kitchen, and bathrooms.

Awesome location in the centre of Vernazza. Great home base from which to visit Cinque Terre by train or hikes. Great terraces with views for late afternoon drinks / aperitivo. Good communication with host, easy to connect, and very helpful.

Property was just ok. A few problems here and there, but they were generally resolved. Kitchen was generally a mix of leftover glasses, cookware, etc. Weather was hot and humid and there was a single, standalone air conditioner in the main room. Fans elsewhere led to a sticky, humid environment overall. Lots of steps (90) to get up and down to street level and train noise was fairly constant. This was noted in the listing and previous comments, so no surprise, but make sure you are prepared for this if you stay here.
