This was a perfect place to stay in Heidelberg!

Very comfortable and clean. The location was perfect. Communication was outstanding regarding the door code.

The bathroom radiator started emitting a loud noise in the night. I think it broke. I had to shut it off. Also, and this isn’t the fault of the apartment, but there were a couple of loud firecrackers set off in the middle of the night and some loud drunk people one night. It b just comes with the town I suppose, but I want people to know that it can get loud outside.

Nice, clean, and close to the Old town area.

We booked 2 apartments for our family and the doors were just feet apart, very nice! The apartments were ready upon our arrival and very clean. The hosts were very good about sending lots of emails to communicate key codes and parking procedures. The location was very close to Old town and the Christmas market, an easy walk.

Parking cost extra and was very tight. We also had to pay an extra city tax that was not mentioned when we reserved on Booking.com. We were on the ground level and there was a lot of noisy foot traffic right outside our windows. Maybe a higher level would be better, but no elevators, so maybe?

Location, Clean, Good size, beautiful property, easy access

Location

On first level, people outside our window talking and laughing late at night. We had to ask them to please respect quiet hour, which they kindly responded to our request.👍🏽 Parking is limited(understandable) , but please some consideration of cost in reservation.

An excellent place to stay- close easy walk to the centre of Heidelberg and a lovely apartment.

The apartment was spacious and exceptionally clean. The bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen facilities were perfect! The apartment is in a very accessible part of the city and the ground floor where we stayed only required a few small steps to arrive at the front door- very good for people who can't manage floors of stairs while carrying heavy suitcases. The decoration in the apartment is also lovely- so a very place to stay and only a short walk to the centre of the city.

Basic apartment in a nice location which could be excellent with a few additional touches.

Sofa bed noisy and uncomfortable. My daughter found it difficult to sleep. This really does need to be changed immediately. Noisy at night both inside and out. Quite basic facilities for the cost.

Dissapointing and will not recommend it

Good location

Poor assistance. Coffee and tea but no milk. We booked for 7 people. Got two single duvets in one room and only two in the other room. We had to put the duvet covers on ourselves. Disappointing. Will not book there again and will not recommend it

No air conditioning on a very hot week in Heidelberg. Fans were provided which did help. As we were on the ground floor when windows were open the students chattering late at night was a little disturbing.

Amazing guesthouse that one will remember for a long time…

This is by far the best place we stayed during our Rhine River road trip. We booked it based on many raving reviews, but we were still overjoyed as soon as we walked in: the unusual high ceiling, the spacious bedroom, living room and bathroom, and the well equipped kitchen there is a washer and dryer in the basement). And the location is very convenient. Above all, it was very reasonably priced compared with other places with similar qualities. We also enjoyed the interesting history of the building (the guest guide book is thoughtful and informative).

Excellent apartment for a family

This place is great. We had a very comfortable stay. Great location, a very short walk to the river, old town and various shops. Was easy with our kids (baby & toddler). Was also great to have a washing machine & dryer in the building.

Absolutely the place to stay in Heidelberg

Great space. Very nice to have a whole apartment. The apartment was beautifully decorated and easily the most comfortable bed. Beautiful building with a lot of character. Close to shopping and restaurants, walking distance to most attractions or very short walk to transport.

The only let down is the large pre-authorised deposit before you stay on top of accommodation payment. This can take weeks to come back. Check in is done by correspondence, which is ok, but a little extra hassle. Provided toiletries are adequate but could be nicer.

Beautiful apartment in a great location in Heidelberg!

Renters need to be aware this is an apartment and not a hotel. Our neighbors were throwing a party next door in the middle of the night and being really loud until late in the night (1 AM). Because its not a hotel there was no front desk to stop the noise. Frustrating the night before a flight.

Wonderful Heidelberg!

Everything about this property is perfect - location, size, cleanliness and amenities. The owner is very helpful, and caring. The apartment is at a perfect location. It has a nice parking space, that is just along the house. The apartment is very spacious with beautiful design, fully equipped, it's extremely comfortable and exceptionally clean! Highly recommended!

Negative - We travel with a car and for us the parking is very important. We booked a parking space in Boardinghouse Luise 5 in advance. Тhe parking space is very nice, it is numbered and has inscriptions that it is in use by Boardinghouse Luise 5 .The problem is that even on the check in day we couldn't park on the spot number pointed for us by the owner because it was busy by some external car. Additionally one of the days we decided to go outside Heidelberg and when we returned all parking spots were occupated including our parking number which is not correct and gave us a bit of an unpleasant feeling and time spent to solving the problem.

Much better than expectation

historical building was very neat and well managed. I could see how seriously the management was running this accomodation, Free Laundry was provided. nobody would welcome you in person, but had a privacy.

The location is very convenient, with supermarkets and stores nearby and the Altstadt in walking distance. The host was very responsive and available. The apartment itself has everything one can ask for and is very cozy and comfortable.
