Charming 1-bedroom apt in Capitol Hill

Overall the pace was great. Coffee, dishes, ammenities were all there everything we needed from a cute little oven to multiple ways to make coffee. Location was close enough to all of the major attractions that Seattle has to offer, down the street from a Safeway to get some groceries if you have an extended stay. Downsides: Parking was a bit confusing and really only found space after the long term tenant downstairs gave us a little hint to park in what seemed to be a tow away spot but we made it work. I wouldn't recommend if you've got children because the floors seem to transfer every single footstep and I felt like I needed to constantly remind my toddler not to run or jump around. Listing was unclear that we'd have neighbors down below so we felt like we were walking on eggshells the majority of the time since we were getting in late most nights. Shower was nice and new but the water pressure was lacking. Also, AC was confusing as we didn't see anything other than a portable unit. The "rules" state to set all thermostats to 55 degrees before leaving so that was a bit confusing because we didn't even have to touch it, maybe user error? We ended up turning on the portable AC in the main BR and turning it to the side to face the living area.Next time we visit Seattle we'll probably just look into just staying at a hotel for the convenience of parking and not having to worry about a list of rules before leaving the space.Nice space for a couple or solo traveler though.

Cute little one bedroom in a perfect location. We walked down to Victrola coffee every morning, Trader Joe’s was a 5 min walk away, everything was close and convenient, and the space was great. We love that this is managed by a family and not some big property management company.

This was an excellent place to stay. The kitchen was tastefully updated and well equipped. A comfortable bathroom was also updated and had a great shower. Everything in the apartment was very clean. The airconditioning and fans worked well. Erik was quick to answer my questions. It was a pleasant home away from home.

Comfortable and clean, quiet and friendly neighborhood. Perfect location on Capitol Hill; within walking distance of restaurants, nightclubs, groceries, and medical facilities. Also, it is located within easy walking distance of public transportation to Seattle Center and Pike Place. Erik and Laura are terrific hosts! I will try to return here for my next visit to Seattle
