Sunlit Cottage Capitol Hill

Very good keypad entry. Spotless place. Short walk to a convenient frequent bus down to the harbour.

Such a great cottage. Bed comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and functional. Sofa bed also comfortable. Location is great. Beautiful area. Cafe nearby with the best egg sandwiches I’ve ever had. Easy access to bus to go downtown. Owner was easy to communicate with. 10/10. Would definitely stay again. Perfect for a couple or solo traveller.

The cottage was delightful, seated in a charming garden in a great neighborhood. It was probably a garage way back when, but very well done for hosting now. The weather was cool, but the cottage was cozy and I was quite comfortable. It is an upstairs/downstairs arrangement and while it can fit 4 if you use the pullout couch, you would probably want just your kids downstairs on the couch since they would have to come up to the bedroom to use the bathroom. I was very comfortable working there, preparing my meals, and also jogging the neighborhood and Volunteer Park. A friend came for a meal and to hang out, and it felt like hosting at home. Very comfortable! I found a little gem.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book this property again. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. Everything we needed was provided, and the space felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location was convenient, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby, yet it was still quiet and relaxing. The host was responsive, helpful, and made the entire process easy from check-in to check-out.We especially appreciated the attention to detail and how clean and organized everything was. It truly felt like a home away from home. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again in the future.
