About this bed and breakfast

If you looking for a quiet break with the best of country as well as being close to town this is the place. A cozy private self contained apartment with a great deck to relax on and enjoy amazing views. Only 2 hours from Auckland and very central to many tourist destinations including Hobbiton, Waitomo Caves as well as beaches.Ideal for professionals.

Cambridge views is located 5 kms from the centre of Cambridge which has a large number of cafes and a local market every Saturday. Cambridge is easily accessible by car or bike. There are many bike tracks nearby as well as the Avantidrome. Lake Karapiro is located 10 minutes away which is very popular for rowing and summer water sports.

Wifi and Sky are provided and there is a spa and pool available on the property.

A simple breakfast is also provided. There is also a gas stove top in the kitchen and cooking facilities so that guests can do their own cooking.

Please note the room has a queen bed and a portable single bed is available on request for extra guests.

THE COTTAGE WAS AS DESCRIBED AND HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED. MY NEEDS ARE FEW: CLEAN, EASY TO FIND, BASIC KITCHEN SUPPLIES. THE HOST HAD A LOAF OF FRESH BAKED BREAD FROM A LOCAL BAKERY WAITING FOR ME - A NICE TOUCH.

Apart from water issue on arrival it was remedied within acceptable time. Though there is free Wi-Fi, the connection is not the best so make sure you have mobile data.Since the accommodation has a washing machine, a clothes airer or clothesline would be ideal, so the guest do not have to use the owners facility.

Great location near Cambridge and Matamata (Hobbiton) and the name “stunning country views” is perfect. The unit is very compact and a small couch in the bedroom is the only place to sit down indoors. However the country view in the back yard with hills cows horses sheep and pigs makes up for it.

For Lord of the Rings and Hobbit fans, this accommodation was our own slice of "The Shire". The room with queen bed was very comfortable, with absolutely stunning views from the adjoining deck. The kitchen was clean and neat and the bathroom modern and simple. The location was great, being only a couple of minutes from the centre of Cambridge. I would definitely recommend Kate's place!

This nice little property is located separate from, but on the same lot as the (presumed) owner's property. Plenty of driveway space, easy access, and a code-controlled gate access entering the property. The bed was comfortable with a nice view out of the back, a good-sized TV (if desired) and convenient wifi add to the comforts. A fresh loaf of bread was a nice treat, as was the coffee options in place.

A cozy cottage close to Cambridge with full kitchen and modern bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the views across fields to the hills was amazing. The host left breakfast, milk and a lovely loaf. Booking and entry to the cottage was smooth. Perfect for a weekend away.

The view was much more than advertised,it was incredible. Everything about our stay was just fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the couch was the comfiest spot to sip coffee and stare out at the view, we appreciated the delicious bread and breakfast bits. The property was well equipped with everything we needed, was very clean, and if we ever make our way back to NZ we will stay here again. Thank you so much for everything.
