Beautiful, clean quiet house great value

I absolutely loved my one night stay here. It’s a beautiful house with full kitchen upstairs and downstairs, so two sets of kitchen and two bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable and everything is super clean. The place is quiet, with plenty of parking in the front yard. Check-in is very easy with digital lock. I highly recommend.

Responsive staff who brought me a fan when I mentioned that it was too warm in the room. It was a hot day and the curtains had been half open. Conveniently located and 10 minutes walking distance from food and attractions. The shared bathroom was clean and spacious with shower and bath options. Shared kitchen has microwave, fridge, cereal, coffee, milk, stove, pots and pans , kettle and even had rice cooker! Self check in was easy.

If you’re upstairs, you’ll need to walk up several stairs. The key to the individual rooms are old style and neat but did take me several times to get used to it.

The front door was locked and no access. Rang the owner who didn’t seem to know what I was talking about. Finally somebody heard the discussion and opened the door.

Good location in serene town. Room was big and comfy, heating was great. Breakfast rich and delicious.

The house was clearly a bit old and neglected - floorboards squeaked and moved under our feet, counter area around kitchen sink was mouldy. It was ok all in all, but I wouldn't come back as these things bother me.

Location was great, just a few minutes walk to the centre. Very clean, efficient self-check in. Very clean bathroom with provided toiletries. Loved that there was a kitchen and was provided cereals, bread, and coffee.

We enjoyed our stay!

We had a group booking of six rooms and it worked really well. Kevin was very helpful responding to questions about the rooms and what configuration would best suit our group. The upstairs kitchen is a lovely space and it was very warm upstairs. Overall, a great place to stay and we'd be happy to stay again.

The hard floors in the hall downstairs made it a bit noisy, and it was a lot colder downstairs. It would have been good to have more comfy seating available in the lounge upstairs.
