07. Terrace with stunning view of the sea and Cap Ferrat, one bedroom apartment.

The property was accurately depicted in the VBRO listing so we had no surprises on check-in and Vieka, the property manager was great to communicate with and she met us at check-in and was very helpful for getting oriented for an efficient stay. The view is amazing and the property has a rooftop pool if inclined to enjoy it. The kitchen supplies were reasonably well stocked to support our stay and support making breakfasts, etc. Parking is a competitive endeavor in this neighborhood, free but available spaces near the entrance can prove scarce at times. We like to walk so the approximately 200 stair-steps back from town did not pose a challenge, but one needs to be reasonably fit to walk back. Ubers are plentiful and pick up right at the entrance to the complex. Note to owner, I think spare sets of towels would be a nice touch to add for the benefit of future guests. There is a clothes washer but drying is on air dry on a rack and we stayed during a rainy period so these would have been are slow to dry, if washed.Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would favorably consider a return visit.

Nice well equipped apartment with incredible views. Great location, about 10-15 minutes walk (lots of stairs!) or short bus ride to central Villlefranche.

We stayed for 4 days and the views were stunning. The only downfall was we didn’t realize just how many stairs there were to get down to the main area where stores and restaurants were. Not going to lie, some nights we walked down for dinner/drinks and took an Uber back up. Overall it was a nice place.

The Good: The location was perfect for walking into town (the steps are not as bad as other reviews suggest— would only be tough if someone has mobility issues). The view from the apartment is picture-perfect, just as described in the posting. Parking was easy- lots of space on the streets. Working w/ Audrey was lovely.The Bad: I’ve never stayed in a VRBO that didn’t have a few basics to start … paper towels, tissues, dish detergent, beach towels (if a beach vay cay), ice/ice cube trays for freezer, oven mitts or kitchen towels for oven, kitchen hand soap, a few pods/detergent for washing machine, etc. The Ugly: This was by far the dirtiest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. There were stains all over the pillows, sheets, towels, mattress cover. It was cheap IKEA linens- so easily replaceable. There was hair and dirt on the couch mattress. The bathroom had black mold and mildew everywhere, including the shower curtain (which was a cheap plastic one that could be easily replaced). Some bleach and cleaning supplies would go a long way in this place.
