Overall I had a wonderful stay thank you!

The location is excellent and the apartment is very spacious (very large bedroom as well as living area) and it has lots of light coming through the big windows…thankfully there is air conditioning (in the bedroom as well) as it was very hot during my stay…I loved the views from each of the windows! Thankful for the elevator as well since the apartment is on the 4th floor…

I didn’t like the fact that the shower head was not attached to the wall? It was very uncomfortable to have a shower. Perhaps two tubes of dishwashing liquid instead of just one for a week’s stay? Also nearly had a mishap when checking out…I asked the host for an extra two hours which he graciously agreed to, but thankfully I did not leave the house after 10 ( normal check out)…when I left at 12 for my transfer to the airport the code did not work which makes me think that if I had stepped out after 10 I would have been locked out and would have missed my flight! Thankfully I walked back in the house that morning just before 10!!! It could have been a disaster otherwise…

A lot… Overall we had a great stay, location is good flat is decent size. But also there were some bits which could be avoided. First at all when we arrived there no bedding provided for sofa bed. We had to contact the owner about this. The cleaners brought the bedding in around 3 hours, we were tired after early morning flight and had to wait for it. The cleaners brought did not offered to make the bedding as well so we ended doing it. The bed sheet came with hole in it, it was washed but had some marks on it. There were 2 pillocases privided and one of it had marks as well. The main bed’s mattress has a lot of stains on it, bedding is not the newest as well and looks a bit outdated and well used. Cleanliness is also questionable. There is no hangers in the corridor for the coats and would really be a bonus as when you arrive you have no where to hang your coats. Also there is no tv in sitting area which is a bit unusual and would be a bonus as well. The kitchen has only one socket and if you want to prepare coffee and toast at one time it is not possible and you have to move kitchen appliances if you want to use them hence the only one socket there. A very annoying thing was that the electric heater in the bathroom stops working in around 2 minutes and you end up having a shower in a quit cold room, as there is no radiator or towel dryer just that electric heater which stops working. We contacted the owner he tried to explain that when it reaches certain temperature it shuts down. But temperature was too low and would be nice to have a heater fully working while you take a shower. The airconditioning units are quite load and if you are sensitive sleeper it would be an issue. Also there is no instructions for anything. For example you have to hold lock button to unlock and switch on the the hob. And you have to find it yourself trying different methods. Same for the sofa bed, you have to find the way how to make it.

The position was excellent. Very easy to get everywhere.

A few minor issues getting into the apartment but they were dealt with effectively. The staff were very helpful.

A beautiful classic French style holiday apartment, great location and owner was good communicator.

The property had a great location, just 5 minute walk from the port, where all the restaurants are and just 20 minute walk from the beach. The property was nicely decorated, was spacious and had a French ville charm. I loved the balcony and the location.

The only negative was the shower head was not mounted, so hard to wash hair. In the grand scheme of things only minor and we were only staying a few days so didn’t take away from the charm of the apartment

Too noisy. Needs to get a good clean and repainted. Shower was poor . The residents were complaining about the apartment being used as an Airbnb.

We stayed during a heatwave. Air con not on when we arrived so it took a while to cool the place down. Bathroom never cooled and was like being in an oven! We travelled with our 1 year old and the walk up/down to the marina and beach was difficult with the buggy due to the hills and tiny footpaths

A lovely stay.

Excellent location for us. 10 min walk to the old town and restaurants. The beach and the train station was about 15 to 20 mins walk.

We had a car. Parking was a problem, not much availability on the side roads near the apartment. Parking was very expensive but we got the weekly parking pass for tourists, 25 euro. Purchase at the parking service building, it's on the road, left hand side, walking towards the beach. This 'pass/permt' was a life saver.

Quaint, cozy apartment

-Aircon works well -apartment is centrally located and some restaurants, local stores nearby and bakery right under the building -wifi is fast -busstopp everywhere is located nearby -apartment is big, airy and light -complete kitchen equipments -washinh machine available -Lucas, the host, answers enquiries fast -elevator up to the 4th floor -walking distance to the Old Town -would stay again in this apartment when in Villefrance-sur-Mer

-sink was clogged when we came on Sunday evening, it was fixed around Thursday when we sent message to Lucas -the floor was a bit dirty. Needs improvement in cleaning. -the toilet needed to be fixed. It was a bit old -would have been great with 2 extra pillows in the masters bedroom.

No toilet paper roll holder at least put in a standing one.The sleeper couch was in a bad state but mattress was good. Apartment was cold extra blankets would have been nice. Air con in bedroom makes a loud noise. Basin soap dispensar was empty

Fantastic, we had a great time

I have just returned from staying at this property. The location is fantastic, the apartment is close to the beach, restaurants, bus/train station. Spacious, bright, and airy apartment. Nicely furnished and well equipped. . Perfect location in Villefranche-sur-mer with bus stop just across the road along with a beautiful patisserie right underneath. We will most certainly return.

Perhaps a full-length mirror in the bedroom could be added, and a few more coffee capsules supplied.

Amazing apartment and balcony in a beautiful town

The most beautiful property in a great spot in Villefranche! Walking distance to the beach and restaurants and Nice was only a short bus ride away (and the bus stop was right out the front!). The building was also on top of a Patisserie and a fruit shop which were sooo good! The place was lovely and clean and the balcony and view were breath taking. Was a great stay if you wanted to get away from the busy crowds in Nice but still wanted to be close to everything. Could not recommend enough!!

Stor fin leilighet med alle fasiliteter. Rent og fint. Aircondition i stue og på soverom som fungerte utmerket i varmen. Sentral beliggenhet, få minutter gange til busstopp og sentrum. Ca 10 min å gå til stranden og togstasjon. Bakeri og butikk rett utenfor inngangsdøren, i tillegg til park med stor flott lekeplass som ungene likte veldig godt. Marked i parken onsdager og lørdager.

Noe støy fra trafikk men ikke noe problem når vinduer og dører var lukket.

Fint og nemt. Der var alt det vi skulle bruge og lige ved bus, bager og apotek. Hvis vi skal tilbage til Ville-Franche v

Det var rent og pænt, meget nemt at få udleveret og afleveret nøgle. Selvom det er meget tæt på trafikken, var der ikke støj i lejligheden.

Der var ikke noget jeg ikke kunne li’ :) Dog kunne det være fint med en anti-skrid-måtte i badet.

Perfekt med bakeri og butikk i underetasjen. Busstopp like utenfor. Kort til restauranter. Nære sentrum. Behaglige senger. Sovesofaen var også behagelig å ligge på. Liten balkong, men deilig å kunne sitte ute.

Ønsker holder for dusjen i badekaret, slik at man kan bruke badekaret som dusj. Ønsket en liten sitegruppe til på balkongen slik at man kan være 4 på balkongen.
